Randy Johnson
Montreal Expos, Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks
Pitcher
Johnson is an intimidating force on the mound and the most dominating pitcher in the game today. A seven-time All-Star and three-time Cy Young Award winner, Johnson has finished in the top 3 of his league in strikeouts every year but one since 1991, six times leading the league. The past three seasons, he has topped the 300-strikeout mark, and in 2000 he eclipsed the 3000 mark for his career. Among active pitchers, his .653 winning percentage is currently second behind Pedro Martinez, and he trails only Roger Clemens in strikeouts. He ranks twelfth on the all-time strikeout list, and is poised to move into the top ten in 2001. Johnson is a sure-fire future Hall of Famer.
