match of the day...

#3 B*Witched

Ah, those lovely Irish lassies B*Witched. Fun loving, full of life and in dire need of sound kicking (any volunteers?).

A possible temporary placement in these hallowed halls, B*Witched may soon be no longer eligable for match of the day due to impending puberty. Edele (11), Lindsay (101/2), Sinead (9) and elder stateswomen(?) Keavy (12), shot to pop stardom in 1998 with their infectious brand of not staying still for any length of time. Their first hit "C'est la vie", on Jailbait Records, rocketed straight to the top of the British charts helped by a brilliant marketing campaign that saw a free trainer bra given away with every copy sold.

In the great tradition of late twentieth centuary pop idols, B*Witched have just signed a lucrative sponsorship deal with Farleys Rusks, although the deal is still under scutiny from lawyers on both sides due to Sinead spilling Ribena on the contract.

B*Witched are now back in the studio, after an exhausting tour of toddlers play groups around the world, and have just released a few tantallising details of the tracks that will feature on the next album. New songs include: "What's Wrong With Me Mummy( I'm Bleeding!)", the sultry ballad "When Will I Get My Love Pillows?" and "Don't Want To Be Old And Fat (Like Billie)" which is rumoured to be the next single.

The band also deny reports that Sinead (right in our picture) is in fact Crispian Mills from upper-class hippy bullshit band Kula Shaker. However, no one has ever seen the two together at the same time.
