Rock and Roll is here to stay....

Rock and Roll changed the world, invaded the walls of communism, and influenced artists. It gave us immortals such as Jerry Lee Louis, The Platters, Elvis, the Beatles, and just so many more.

Before we get to the music, I want to lovingly dedicate this page to two specific radio stations and DJ's that rule them...

Thanks for the Great Music and memories....

Dandy Dan Danials-Whether he remembers me or not, he was a radio friend when I had suffered my major stroke in 1997. I would spend alot of time on the phone with him, and his encouragement and friendship meant alot during those difficult times for me...................

Thanks Triple D

The man I grew up listening to. Cousin Brucie has been a part of my radio "growing up" since his days on WABC. He makes every show an experience.

Bob Shannon-There was never a time you didn't make me laugh. Your humor and wit made listening to the radio a pleasure.

Don K. Reed, the man who taught me about DooWap. Listening to his show was like a history lesson in Doo Wap.

In the beginning of this year, I moved Philadelphia. I thought that my oldie days were over....

Boy, I was sooooooo wrong.

WOGL has helped me fill the gap and satisfied my desire for a oldies "fix".

I'm still learning all over your names, but, you guys are the greatest....

And now, to the music.....

As we entered the late 60's we entered a time frame where music expressed the youth of America's feeling of what was happening with the war, riots. NO where was this more evident than in the famous WOODSTOCK concert in 1968. I wish to share some of the music that was playing during these turbulant times.
