The VAMC Recruiting Office

So you wish to join the VAMC?  NO military experience is needed, only a desire to learn about the U.S. Air Force, meet new people, and just have fun playing your simulation against missions created by us to reflect our "simulated world" and the conflicts that arise.  I hope to see you on the team soon!

To join follow these steps:

1.  Review the VAMC Handbook.   Ensure that you are willing to comply with the official polices of the VAMC.

2.  Decide on a community to join.   There are currently 4 communities we offer:

  • The V-USAF/ACTIVE DUTY Community: all Active Duty personnel are required 2 cycles per month: 1st - 15th; 16th - 30th (31st). All members are required to exert a minimum level of participation on a regular basis.  A minimum of one mission a cycle is the standard.

  • The V-USAF/RESERVE Community:  all Reserve Duty personnel have one cycle per month: 1st - 30th (31st). A minimum of one mission a cycle is the standard.

  • The V-US AIR NATIONAL GUARD Community:  all ANG personnel have one cycle per month: 1st - 30th (31st). A minimum of one mission a cycle is the standard. You have the choice of which State AFN Unit (that is available) in which to serve.

  • The V-CIVILIAN RESERVE AIR FLEET Community: all CRAF personnel have one cycle per month: 1st - 30th (31st). A minimum of one mission a cycle is the standard. You have the choice of which major commercial airline to fly, which is part of the VAMC CRAF program.

3.  Download and install ICQ.  ICQ is a free chat utility software that we use to keep in touch with our VNC members.   You can download it here from the ICQ download site.   You will receive a unique identification number (UIN), write it down as you'll need it later on.

4.  Subscribe to the VNC Onelist mailing list.   Once you have completed the registration process, go to explore communities, in the search box type "V-AirMobilityCommand" and then join the community.

5.  Then submit the following information:

First and Last Name :
