	The time is January 5th, Sonic is in his hut with Sally. Sally is in the kitchen, looking for something. "Now where is it?" She is looking all over the kitchen, bathroom, living room, everywhere. Then Sonic walks in, all dressed in a white shirt with a black vest. He hasn't put his pants on yet. "Hey Sal, did you find your earrings yet?" "No, I have searched the whole house. Can you help me?" Sonic takes off, and zooms all around the house. He checks every spot. Then he comes up to Sally and says, "Are these the ones you are looking for?" Sonic says, looking very confident. "Well Sonic, no they are not the ones! We gotta find them or we are gonna be late!" "Sal, you should know by now that late is not in my vocabulary. Anyways, here are the earings."Sonic says after taking off again, without Sally noticing him. "O.k., now let's get going." "By the way, you look beautiful tonight Sally." "Thank you." Sally replies, wearing a black dress the shines in the light. Sonic picks up Sally and heads towards the dance for that night. When they arrive at the party, everyone was there. Bunnie, Antione, Tails, Sasha, Rotor, so on and so on. Akeela was also there and Sonic noticed that very quickly. 3 people were playing a game called "Twisted". It is the same game as "Twister", but they have a different name for it here. Sonic walks over to the sky-blue colored hedgehog, dressed in a gray tux complete with brown dress shoes and gray hat. He is leaning against a wall as Sonic says "Was'up bro?" "Nothin'." "What is goin' on here?" "They are seeing who can last the longet in that game. Bunnie can't play because she can stretch her metalic limbs. How are you and Sally doin'?" "Pretty good. Have you found anyone yet?" "No." "Well, good luck." "Thanks. I wonder when the right one will walk by me." Sonic looks at the game and notices that Sally is winning the game. She is so twisted up. Then Sonic thinks "(Man, I didn't know she could do that!)" He watches her as she stretches her body to beat Antione. "C'mon, *grunt* Antione! Give it up!" Then Antione falls over. Sally stands up and says while exhaling, "Man, talk about a workout!" Then Bunnie says, "Hey evrybody! Dinner is ready!" Sonic rushes to the dinner table, sits, and starts to pound on to the table. "C'mon! I am hungry!" "Shut your big mouth Sonic! The food is coming." Sally says as she walks in. "Well, I am sorry that I get hungry." Then Bunnie walks in with a ham while Sasha brings the mashed potatoes. Sonic's eyes atart to widen as they bring in more food. Then Sally stands up and says. "Thank you all for bieng here tonight! This is a momentous occasion. I am sorry that we could not have the party earlier in the new year, but we had to repair our medilab and the injured mobians as most of you know. You may begin." Once Sonic heard this, he stood up and grabed the knife and started to cut the meat using his speed. He cuts a piece for every one and for himself. they eat for about forty-five minutes, then it is about 7:30. Sonic grabs a toothpick and starts to pick his teeth. He walks to a couch and sits down. He hold his stomach as he relaxes. When Sally finishes, she starts to walk to Sonic when Akeela walks to her and says "Sally, can I speak to you privately?" "Sure." They walk into another room and Akkela flips the light switch and closes the door. Sall looks at him and says, "You wanted to talk to m..." Sall is interrupted by Akeela kissing her. "What the hell do you think you are doing!?!" Sally says after pushing away. "Well, ever since I found out about the legendary Freedom Fighters, I have stared at the picture of them that I got from my Uncle Chuck. And ever since," Akeela says as he pulls out the picture. "I fell in love with you. It broke ny heart when I got some bad info about you that you died." He hands her the picture. "Even If Akeela, you have no right to kiss me! You know that Sonic and I are going out!" "Yes, but I was..hoping to change..your..mind." Akeela says sheepishly. Sally walks over to him, kisses him on the cheek and says "It's alright, I understand that you love me." "You do?" "Yes, just don't do that again." Sally says as they walk out of the room. Then she thinks to herself, "(If Sonic finds out, he is gonna be pissed.)" 

	Sonic and Sally are walking home because the party just ended. "That was fun, did you have a good time Sal?" "Ya, it was alright, I guess." "What is wrong?" Sally thinks to herself and confirms her thought. "There is something I have to tell you, Sonic." They walk up to thier door and enter. Sally tells Sonic what happened at the party and Sonic completely freaks out. "Why the hell did you let him kiss you?!? To belive that the one girl I love in this damn universe she would go and cheat on me." "Wait, that is not how it happened! Where are you going?" "I am going out." "Wait, Sonic." Sally's eyes begin to water up as Sonic leaves. She curls up and begins to cry. Sonic races all over the Great Forest. He reaches Robotropolis. There is only rubble left in the place where a powerful tyrant once lived and once controled most of Mobius. Sonic races through the debri, but stops next to a familiar spot in the ground. He opens the hatch in the ground and jumps down instead of using the ladder. When he reaches the bottom, he starts walking towards a familiar matalic body. This body is sitting down in a chair in front of a computer. "Hi, Uncle Chuck." "What is the matter nephew?" "Personal problem with me and Sal. I just needed to get away and this was the only place I could think of." "You can stay here as long as you need to now that Robotnik is gone. Sonic, push the button on your left and put on this helmet for a second." "Why Uncle Chuck?" "Because I found something this morning that might help us." Sonic does as he is told and puts the helmet on. Lights start to flash on the helmet as Uncle Chuck types something on the computer. Then Sonic see's something on the screen in the helmet. "Why do you want me to look at a cave Unc?" "This is not an ordinary cave. It holds a powerful thing inside of it. I need you and only two others to go and find out what it is." "Alright." Sonic says depressed. He takes off without even saying good bye. He races up the ladder and zooms back to Knothole. "Good luck, Sonic." When he reaches theoutside skirts of Knothole, he stops and thinks "(Who should I bring? I guess I could bring those two. It probly is my only chance if I do.)" He resumes his pace towards his hut and stops it front of it. He turns to his wrist communicator. He pushes two buttons and whispers "Uncle Chuck, can you hear me?" "[Yes, what is it?]" "When do we have to leave?" "[You can leave tomarrow.]" "O.k., Sonic out." He walks in and turns off his wrist com. He looks at Sally, asleep, his eyes slowly start to fill with tears. He turns to run but stops and thinks, "(No, I am not gonna run away this time.)" He looks at her. "(God, she is so beautiful. I am lucky to have her. That is, if I still have her.)" He walks over to the bed and sits down. He wipes the tears off as he takes off his shoes, then his socks. Then he takes off his wrist com. and his gloves. He slides under the covers and puts his arms behind his head and thinks, "(Please, mom, dad, what ever happens tomarrow, protect me, my love and sibling tomarrow when we go on that mission. And please keep Sally and I together. I love her to much to lose her.)" He thinks that as he falls asleep. The next day, Sally is in the shower. Sonic is still in bed but really isn't asleep. He has his eyes closed, but is thinking to himself. When he does get up, he puts on his wrist com., walks over to the mirror and looks at himself, puts his gloves on and thinks. "(Should I forgive her? The way she said it, Akeela kissed her. Why would he do that? I gotta get over there and straighten things out.)" Sonic starts to walk to the door after putting his shoes on, when Sally gets out of the shower. She walks out in to the living room, stil naked, drying herself with a towel. She walks to him and says "Sonic, about last night, I am sorry." "It is not your fault. I am going over to Akeela's house to talk to him." "Just talking?" "Yes, I have calmed down. Get dressed, you look easy." Sonic says as Sally give him a bad look. "(Hmph, callin' me easy.)" Sonic takes off to Akeela's house. 

	When he arrives, Akeela is outside laying in a cot, relaxing because it is a beautiful day outside. Sonic walks over to him and says "Wake up!!!" Akeela panics and falls off the cot. He gets up and rubs his head. "Why did you have to do that. I am the older brother, I am supposed to do that." "Look, I got somthin' to talk about. Can we go inside?" "Ya. (Ut oh, I think I know what he wants to talk about. Just stay strong, Akeela.)" They walks inside and Sonic sits down. Akeela sits on a chair in front of him. "Akeela, why did you kiss my girl?" "I know, I am sorry, she is just so beautiful." "Ya , well you almost broke us up!" They ramble on and on, getting more serious. Everyone outside can hear them. "I don't belive I even considered to take you along with on this mission my unc told me." "He told you to?" "Ya." "Well, I was gonna ask you!" "Look, we have to do this. We will work together, for now. But when we get back, were gonna settle this. Let's go tell Sally." They both take off after the same person: Sally. When they get there, Sally is inside, brushing her hair. They walk inside and Sally looks at them. "So, are you guys cool?" "Not right now. There is a mission that Uncle Chuck wants us to go on." "O.k., I'll be right there." They walk outside and talk. "Will we be able to work together Sonic?" "Yes, but like I said, we will finish this when we get back." "You guys aren't gonna fight, are you?" Sally says as she walks outside. "No, I don't think we will. C'mon, I'll carry you to Uncle Chuck." She get's into Sonic's arms and they take off. They reach Charles' station. They enter and he says. "I am glad you guys came. Here is the equipment you will need. You will be going to the far west side of Robotropolis. This thing that I discovered was not there when Robotnik ruled. It just got there from underneath the ground. It is filled with many obstacles to face so you will have your hands full. Just becareful." "Will do Unc." Sonic picks up Sally and they zoom up the ladder and towards there destination. When they arrive, Sonic walks up to the mouth of the cave. A huge gust of wind pushes all of them in to the cave. The slide down a slippery cave floor for about 5 minutes. When they are about to hit bottom, Sonic notices that there are spikes on the cave floor. "Jump!" Sonic says, then they all jump. Sally's vest somehow get's caught on the spikes and most of it is ripped off. She holds her arm over her bare chest and her cheeks turn red. "What happened to your top?" Akeela asks. " It got ripped off." "Here, take my jacket." "Thank you. Turn around Akeela." He turns around as she puts the coat on and zips it up. "There, that's better." Sally says confident. "C'mon, we have a miss.." "Sonic watch out!" Akeela yells as Sonic backs up. A machine gun fired at Sonic, scratching his stomach and making it bleed a little. Sonic holds his stomach, keeping it from bleeding. He asks for a piece of her vest. "That was my favorite vest." "Give me the piece." "Alright, but you need to get me a new one." She hands him the piece and he rubs his wound. He throws that piece away and thinks. "(How are we gonna get across? I know!)" "Hey Sonic, why don't we go over the guns by running on the ceiling?" "We can't, there are guns all over the ceiling to, if you didn't notice. There is only one way across. Akella, get over here." "Yeah?" "Follow my lead." Sonic spins off and starts cutting the guns, dodging the bullets. Akeela follows and does the same. There are explosions everywhere. Sally backs up into a corner and puts her arms over her head to protect her head. "C'mon Sally!" She starts running as they destroy the guns. They reach the end point of the hall-o-guns and find there new obstacle. "Oh great! How are we gonna get across this time?" Akeela says."There isn't even a ceiling, walls, or ground to run on! There is no way we are gonna get across this pool of lava!" "Will you shut up and let me think!(How are we gonna do it this time. It looks like it is 100 feet long.) Wait! I have an Idea!" "Yeah, and what is that?" "Akeela, grab Sally's hands and let me grab your feet. I am gonna try and throw you over." "What are you, crazy?!?" "Trust me, it will work." Sonic starts to spin, whipping them around in circles. When Sonic let's go, they fly completly fly over the lava pit, and crash on the other side. Sally lands on her feet while Akeela lands on his back. "Oh..man...my back...really hurts, Ow." "Are you alright?" "Ya, I am fine. Are you O.k.?" "Ya." Sally turns toward Sonic and notices that he was flying across the pool. He makes it across, lands on his feet and says, "Did I miss anything?" Sally rolls her eyes and starts walking just as Sonic slips on weak rock and catches the edge. Sally runs to Sonic and grabs his wrists. She tries her hardest to pull him up. His hands start to rise as she pulls him up. Then Sonic's hands slip through and he falls far down. Sally gasps and stares at the hole as she hears a splash in the lava. Tears start to fall as Akeela notices what has happened. He closes his eyes and turns his head, trying to hold back the tears. He picks up Sally's arm and she panics. "No, I am going down with him!" "No, Sally!" He grips her arm harder as she tries to pull away. He pulls her to his face and says "Don't you think I am sad to!?!" Akeela says in a frantic motion as he sheds a tear. "I didn't want that to happen! You gotta be strong! Now let's go, we have a mission to complete.(Sonic, why did you have to die this way?)" Sally starts walking, looking back at the pit, wondering what happened to Sonic. 

	Sally and Akeela have just reached the fourth obstacle. The third one was a room with a bunch of spiked objects. It left the two Freedom Fighters badly cut and bruised. Luckily, Sally had brung her laser blaster along for the ride. She destroyed most of the objects. She was so mad at the fact that Sonic had supposedly died, she shot at all of the objects and almost shot Akeela a few times. When she calmed down, they continued there journey, now, one missing. There new feat to accomplish is a room with a crystal in the middle, surrounded by a blue force field. Sally starts to approch the crystal when she hears Akeela say, "Sally, the inscrpition says it needs speed only Sonic and I can produce. And since the tragedy happened, I am the only one qualified to do this." "Alright. Here, do you know what it means?" "Ya, I have to shoot at three spot on the ceiling at the same time so it will hit the force field at the same time, hitting the weak spot. It should activate the crystal and we move on. This is the last test." Akeela walks over to the circle on the ground like the inscription described. He looks at the spot and shot them all in the same instant. The blasts bounce all around and hits the shield at the same time. It activates the crystal, sending Sally and Akeela down a tube. They fall for 2 seconds and hit bottom. Akeela is the first to land. He lands on his feet, then Sally crashes down on him. They both get up and look around. They walk foward and notice a bright light. A voice says, "I am the all powerful Glimlok. I grant one wish to the ones that succeed in reaching the destination. What is your wish?" Sally looks at it and thinks "(What should I wish for, no great war, no Worlord Julian that took over Mobotropolis. No, I know what is the right wish.) I wish for Sonic, my boyfriend and my love to come back to life." "Your wish will be granted." A bright red light flashes all over the room, then onto a small spot on the ground. A form of a body starts to form in the light. Then the shape is filled with color and distiguishing charecteristics. Then you can clearly recognize the person. Sally runs to him as Sonic falls down. She picks him up as the being says, "He will wake up in 5 minutes. I will teleport you back to your homes." A bright light flashes, sending them back to Knothole. Sally is in thier hut with Sonic while Akeela was teleported back to his house. They are quickly surronded by people because of the sound they made when they teleported back. They all ask where they went and what they did. Sally tells them that what happened is none of their business, that it was a secret mission Uncle Chuck wanted them to go on. Then she tells them to leave as Akeela runs into thier hut. He asks if they are o.k. Sally tells them yes as Sonic wakes up. Sonic looks around and notices that Akella and Sally are over him. Sonic looks at Akeela and says "You're lucky I wont kick your ass, just leave the kissing on Sally to me."
