Build Orders
Marine Rush-This strategy
can work but against a talented player you will get badly beaten.
1. Send all your scvs to
harvest at different mineral patches.
2. Build scv's until you
have 8 and with your 8th scv build a supply depo. Continue building scvs.
3. When that scv finishes
building the depo build a barracks with him and continue building scvs.
4. Build a second barracks
and a second supply depo and begin building marines and keep building scvs.
5. Build scvs and continue
building barracks till you have about 6 and build supply depo's as needed.
Eventaully you will want to build an academy and possibly an engineering
bay. If you really have your heart set out on marines go up to 12
barracks.
Tank Push-I find this strategy
to be very successful most of the time as when tanks come to early people
have trouble defending against it.
1. Send all your scvs to
harvest at different mineral patches.
2. Build scvs up till 8 then
build a supply depo with the 8th one.
3. Continue building scvs
and when supply depo finishes build a barracks.
4. While building scvs and
barracks is constructing as soon as you have enough for vespane extractor
build it.
5. When barracks finishes
you have the option of building a bunker but if you want tanks faster dont
do it.
6. Build marines constantly
and build supply depos as needed. Have 4 drones harvesting gas.
7. Once you have the minerals
and gas neccessary for a factory, build it.
8. Remember you should have
always been building scvs.
9. Build 2 or 3 more barracks
and a machine shop.
10. Once you have 2 or 3
tanks and seige mode reserached take the tanks and all your marines and
go seige push.
11. Later I would advise
getting a starport and a sceince facility and researching irraditate or
emp shockwave depending on what is needed as this will help greatly.
Wraith Rush-The wraith rush works
very well against terran and protoss and unless you are good at picking
off overlords I wouldn't advise this against a zerg player but you are
better off using a tank push.
1. Send all your scvs to
harvest at different mineral patches.
2. Build scvs up to 8.
3. Build supply depo with
the 8th scv and when the supply depo finishes build a barracks.
4. Keep building scvs and
while barracks is building build a vespane extractor.
5. You have the option of
building a bunker but if you want wraiths faster dont do it.
6. Keep building marines
another supply depo and a factory. Continue to build scvs as well.
7. When factory is finished
build two starports attach a control tower to one of them research cloaking
and start pumping out the wraiths. Remember to repair any damaged
wraiths when they are not in combat.
