Final Fantasy Quest

Final Fantasy Quest is similar to Final Fantasy 5.  It puts you in the roll of a young man named Brad. His girlfriend Lenna has been kidnapped by the now evil Ninja Leader. He will now have to battle his way through the other five leaders of the land. The Leader of Water, Air, Fire, Earth, and Death. But what turned the Ninja Leader evil? Does a greater evil await?

Final Fantasy Quest is our first game and is probably going to be one of the best. It has a really good battle engine, combined with good graphics (thanks to Europress and the creators of Final Fantasy 5) and an okay story line (Story is above.) In your quest you will come across many different foes, and friends. The only big difference in this game from the original Final Fantasy games, is that you only control one character (no multi-character battles, which I am hoping to make possible in Final Fantasy Quest II,) and that there are no different character classes to chose from. The game features many cut scenes, characters to talk to. As you advance in the game, your enemies will become harder, you will learn more moves and spells, and more of the story will unfold. The demo is over 30 frames, and the demo is not very long! So you can expect the full version to be over 100 frames! Making this the biggest Klik n' Play games ever! Since the game is going to be so big, you can expect the release date to be around May or June, with possible delay. I've listed a few facts below.

PROS
-One of the few Real Time RPG's
-Very long gameplay
-Good battle engine
-Tons of moves and Spells to learn
-Lots of cut scenes
CONS
-It is taking a long time to make
-No multicharacter battles or classes
-Could use more sound effects
-Does experience some slow down

RELEASE DATE
Without Delay - May-June this year
With Delay - Who knows

REQUIREMENTS
minimum requirements
Pentium 75 w/8 megs of ram and 256 colors display
recomended requirements
Pentium 75 w/16 megs of ram and 256 colors or more.
(Will still experience slow down on recomended requirements, it has slow down on my pentium 133 /w 32 megs of ram! So if want no slow down what so ever I suggest Pentium 200 /32 megs of ram, but the slow down doesn't effect the game much, so I woulded worry about it, and you only get slow down sometimes when you are actually controling the character, you never get in battle.)

This is a Final Fantasy 5 screenshot (FFQ will look very similar)
