There's no pleasing these little #*%^&(@)#'s. No matter what I do, It's
rare occasion when I see a smile on one of them. HELP!!!
Your not alone in your frustration!! Many breeders have similar
troubles. In the health kit, check the "driver and needs" tab, if they are
hungry, feed them, tired, make them sleep ( you might need to give them
sleeping pills), bored, give them toys and let them explore. Part of the
difficulty is that meeting one of their needs can make another of their
needs worse. For example, if you have a Norn whose exhaustion is maxed, one
way to handle it is to call him to the hand and tickle repeatedly. This will
cause your Norn to stay in one spot to receive the tickles. His exhaustion
will drop, along with his need for pleasure, but sleepiness will rise. If
you keep it up for too long, boredom will increase, sometimes accompanied by
anger. Now that you've got his sleepiness raised, you need to let him sleep.
Unless he's hungry, which generally prevents Norns from sleeping soundly -
or at all. Problem there is, sleepy Norns can't always remember how to eat,
and when they try to push - and can't, Need for pleasure increases again,
along with anger.
Now, another Norn comes along, and distracts your current Norn from your
attentions, complicating matter royally. then, Grendel shows up, beating on
everybody, and spreading infection......
Isn't Creatures a wonderful game????
Raise one at a time if you have difficulties making them happy.
