Creatures Encylopedia!

Not much explaing here.

Here you will find a lot of words that are Creature related. Basically a Creatures Encyclopedia.
Will be arranged in alphabetical order when time permits. :)
Albia --- The world in which Creatures is based. Contains the norns, Grendels, and everything else
in Creatures.

Albian Carrot Beetle ---- annoying little thing that
enjoys devouring carrots. Tasty delicacy for
norns, however they will gang up on the norns
if they are attacked.
Alcohol (hootchie) --- drink for the norns; makes them
sleepy, and of course, drunk. :-)
Ball --- Toy that the norns are fascinated with.
Especially baby ones.
Baobob --- makes norns tired, but it can also be an
energy source.
Bees --- little yellow buzzy things that fly around
and pollinate plants. Sting your norns and also
grendels. Live by the hives.
Butterfly --- bug that pollinates flowers. Harmless;
interesting to norns.
Campanula ---Makes norns sickly. Good to avoid.
Carrot --- Healthy food for the norns. Grows in the garden.
Caterpillar --- Crawly thingie that turns into butterflies.
Norns squish them and are amused by it! :-)
Cheese --- healthy food for norns. Kind of scarce.
Clock --- ticking sound makes norns sleepy.
Coconut --- hard to crack, but good. You can find it on
the island.
Computer --- essential tool in Creatures.... teaches your
norns commands you can use.
Coffee --- Good for waking them up in the morning :-)
Death Cap --- the EVIL plant. If your norn eats it, it dies.
If it somehow survives, it's near dead. Best to avoid.
Drum --- instrument for that talented norn. BAM BAM BAM....
Elevator --- the primary transportation device in Albia.
Feverfew --- The Tylenol of Albia. Reduces pain.
Fish --- grabs your norn's attention. Doesn't do anything...
must be boring being him :-)
Flibberdegibbit (springy helicopter) --- toy that bounces up
and down for the norns.
Cave Fly --- pokes your norns giving them various diseases...
rather annoying.
Gentian --- Good for treating a fever, this reduces feelings
of hot or cold.
Grendel --- Dirty, germ-carrying species of Albia. Likes to
pick on the norns, punching them around, stealing
their food, etc. Also gives them diseases. Can be
trained to be more tolerant of norns, or even to mingle
with the norns. Cannot reproduce without extreme
genetic tinkering.
Hand --- This is you, of course. The norns can even associate
this with your name. kinda hits you right here, don't
it? :-)
Harp --- Yes, the melodic harp.... can be played by you or your
run of the mill norn.
Hive --- BZZZZZ.... refill station for the honey pots, but can
sting your norns if they punch the beehives.
Horn --- the trumpet for your Dizzie Gillespie wannabe norn. :-)
Honey --- sweet for the norns. Not particularly healthy. Can be
refilled by the beehives.
Incubator --- where your norns hatch.
Jellyfish --- same as fishy, only blue :-)
Jukebox --- Cranks out some tunes for your norns to enjoy.
Laburnum --- Best to avoid, this makes norns very sick.
Lemon --- sour food for your norns. They get used to the taste bud
wake-up call after a bit.
Morning Glory --- No, not the firecracker. This makes your norns
more alert.
Movie projector --- entertains your norns with riveting pictures
of..... mountains. :-)
NightShade --- makes Norns tired rather quickly. *sings*
Niiiiiiightshade will help you get your Z's! :-)
Norn --- The Creatures that you control. The most intelligent critter
in Albia, they talk, walk, eat, sleep, reproduce, and
basically act like it's alive. A good tip for keeping control
of them is treating them like a 2 year old child.
Piano --- for that average Joe norn that can't play the harp.... this one
plays with the crank of the lever :-)
Pyrethium --- Hurts norns, and makes them hungry even if they're not.
A plant to steer away from.
Radio --- Cranks out some tunes on the island.
Robot toy --- squeaky metal toy that rocks back and forth.... needs
some oil, in my opinion:-)
Sea Horse --- toddles around in the sea.
Stove --- keeps the warms cozy and makes them sleepy.
sub --- Transports your norns underwater. They don't drown,
of course. :-)
Teleport --- pops your norn instantly from one spot to the next.
Tomato --- Increases your norns sex drive.
Top --- spinning top thing that whirls around.... great for norn
parties; it gets all the norn's attention.
Turkey --- Healthy food supplement for your norns.
Ugly Tomato --- not good for your norns... reduces their sex drive.
Vending machine --- dispenses carrots for your norns... however, you
cannot operate it.
