Well, now that I have your attention, we can begin with the Guide. But, what guide wouldn't be complete without a nice intro? I play R6 a lot with my friends. We made our own clan and so far are the only ones in it. Clans don't mean as much as they used to... Intro is over, let's go!

2. Tactics
These are the basics, see the Advanced Tactics below for more stuff.
- Slice The Pie.
- This is a pretty complex maneuver to explain, but I'll try. First of all, find the opening you want to assault and face through it. Next, move forward slowly while moving themouse in an arc. Eventually, if you go forward, you will run into the wall, so start to strafe instead of walking straight. So you should now be facing the door frame and strafe-walking. Turn the mouse some more until you are totally strafing. Now you are through the door and have killed that damn Tango with a real SWAT maneuver! Good Work. (See a Graphic Example).
- Flashbangs
- This can be practiced at the Demolitions Training mission, but I'll explain it here also. First, select Flashbangs. Position yourself where you can see the inside of the room barely, where there is a space the size of the circle in the reticle. Charge the flashbang to about 1/4 or 1/2, then release. Be wary that grenades are released from below the reticle, so aim a little upwards. If you picked a man with good demolitions skills, the grenade will travel right through that crack, and blow the crap out of their eyes. Then you can rush in and waste them while they are stunned. Another SWAT tactic covered. Good Work.(See a Graphic Example).
That's all for now for the Tactics section. Now for the advanced section...
3. Advanced Tactics
- Successful Grenades
- Well, this one is like the flashbangs, except it is lethal. Here are some tips: Don't try and throw over rails when you are close to them. The grenades will rebound off it and kill ya. Try not to use too much power. If you miss and hit a wall, it will come right toward you like a boomerang. Don't throw when you see teammates. The blast radius is more than you'd expect, so don't throw in close quarters or when a teammate is near. Grenades bounce off flesh. Don't throw at the guy, throw ahead of him.
- Successful Sniping
- Tips: Crouch. You have an increased accuracy rating if you are crouching. Also, it makes you harder to hit. Don't use zoom mode too much. A couple times, zoom mode has killed me because I couldn't turn fast enough to kill the guys. Try to reload when you have time. Don't reload when some goon is trying to advance. Switch to secondary if you have to, but you shouldn't have run out of bullets in the first place. Download NATO 2. It contains many good sniper rifles that can be used to kill quickly and efficiently. Get it here.
That's all for now. Sorry guys, but you have to practice and make your own tactics. Well, this guide is over, now for the legalities...
