• Tony's music appeals to people from loads of different countries and all age groups, from young kids to grannies, because they relate to it.  Its unique because it isn't just monotonous love songs, like most bands/solo artists, but is original and about different issues.  Tony's personality & songwriting are the main reasons why East 17 were so successful & why he will be successful as a solo artist.  If record companies are unsure about the amount of support Tony's new music will have, they just need to look on the internet sites & guestbooks about him to see how many people are waiting for his new stuff to come out, plus there's people like me who don't sign the guestbooks.  Tony already has a big worldwide fanbase of fans like me, who will buy his new music as soon as its released. • Hi,  I'm very disappointed about Tony's new album. What's up?!.Is there somebody who has apprehension about his quality? I think record companies have to take a chance to make a good business. • I would just like to say that Tony's music and lyrics are amazing...When I was growing up I use to listen to his lyrics and feel better if I felt down, because it was as if they spoke directly to me, not many artist have the talent to do that! No other artist ever touched me with their lyrical genius

• Anthony Mortimer's one of the very best songwriter's in the entire world. He's made a plenty of hits, has had number ones all around the world and he still has got lots and lots of supporters nearly everywhere in the world. Those are just a few reasons why I simply cannot understand why he still hasn't had the chance to release his latest music on his own. I'm 100% certain that his new songs would be more than welcome, not just for the people who still care for him for his work for East17, but there could definitely be lots and lots of other people who could fall head over heals in love with his new material. Which we haven't had the chance to hear, because no one's dared to release his music. That's not fair. Nor for him and neither for us who've been waiting and waiting and waiting to hear his new songs - for nearly 3 years now!! What I'm saying is that it wouldn't be a big risk to let Anthony do his work and give him the chance to release his songs. I'm sure his 1st single would already sell thousands of copies around the world, if not millions. Which is one of the reasons why I simply cannot understand why he still has to be without a record company. He already knows about the life of a musician, he's been there, he's seen it all and he's also a professional. If I just had my own record company, I would've started working with Anthony right away without a doubt. That would be because I believe in him and in his work. He knows what hes doing and he does it well. So WHY can't he still be doing what he was doing so damn good a few years ago!? GIVE HIM A BREAK and let us all have the chance to enjoy his music!!

• I got "Walthamstow" for my birthday some years back, and LOVED it big time.  Borrowed "Steam" from the public library where I work and loved most of it too.  Have got the "around the world singles" video on "permanent staff loan" and love it so much I just bought(yesterday) the CD so I can listen to it everywhere.
   I don't know what happened to E 17 - they sort of just disappeared as far as Aust. is concerned but I think Tony's an extremely talented top bloke, and I WISH THERE WAS MORE OF HIM AND/OR E 17 being released for us all to enjoy.  Come on, record companies, how about it??? Recognise continuing talent and creativity and give us what we want(instead of all that insipid Britney Spears-type rubbish and other really horrible pop/techno crap)!!  Give proper talent a continuing go...you may all laugh and say I'm far too old for this sort of stuff, but I know decent music whenI hear it, and it doesn't get much better than "Stay another day" and "Deep".  Very eclectic style but extremely good.... • If to be honest, I've always found it to be very difficult to express my feelings in words. And once again I don't know how to start. But I'll try. Well, I think if you love and adore someone or something it's just impossible to explain WHY. Look,you fall in love with a gorgeous girl( or boy) and someone asks you what is so special about your lover. Is it always that easy to answer? The same with me now. I remember very well when I saw the East 17 video on tv for the first time. I just loved their music( which, as we all know, was mostly created by Anthony) and I did not start thinking why was that. I did not even notice when the love came. It was so natural and unavoidable. I just opened my heart and let the music of Tony go straight into it. It became a part of me. A part of my life. And I do not regret, even now when Tony and us, fans, gotta go through some difficulties. Bad times do not last for ever. Anthony is a good man and I really believe - what goes around!, comes around. So God won't leave everything that way what it's like now. EVERYTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT IF WE REALLY BELIEVE AND REALLY WANT IT.

  Tony is undoubtedly one of the worlds greatest artists in all categories of talent , and this can be substantiated !
  Ever heard of the Novello award ?? He has one!
  Singing ? He does it extremely well
  Rapping ? listen to the albums ! and as a special note here, he is what a white guy rapping should be ! someone who shows the power of the art not a tryhard who sings like a black american.
  Writing ? He got the award and has been writing for ages!
  Instrumentals ? Hell yes!
  Likeability as an artist ? Let me see, he dissaproves of promoting drugs (as seen in his statement after the Brian incident),he does not come from a terribly priviliged background (Walthamstow!!),he is down to earth and at the same time spiritual and can express this in his work, he creates music that sounds completely different to every other artist out there yet each song is wonderful and has a clear message.
  Are you still here ?? you should be waving a contract in Tony's face by now!
  Ok fine then ! lets compare to some other artists shall we ?? Rap artists --Tony uses rap to show the power behind noble emotions ,not to talk bout himself ! manufactured bands (BSB Nsync..assorted bull) --They cannot dance well(look at any concert vid or see what Tony's role was in the band before East 17),cannot write music(their team of songwriters does it for them)Novello!!,cannot play instruments(we never see them!) and occasionally they have some artistic input into a video clip in East 17 each clip was fresh and guess who had input.....
  He is one of the most diverse artists out there, want some proof ??ok,load the Up All Night Cd, put on say.. Its All Over, when done , pop in the Steam cd, listen to Stay Another Day followed by Be there,finally go back to the start of his music and put in Walthamstow, play Deep and Gold : Paws on the floor by now you know what I am on about, it is impossible to pop Tony into one musical category, this is what we call a balanced artist not just a guy who has one thing to tell the world,a balanced person who can utilise all the classic and new musical styles.
  Finally .. Tony has been writing for years,even since East 17,and has a fantastic skill+voice,he has a massive fanbase- take a look at the sites around about him, and remember how many years it is since he left East 17 and this only represents a tiny portion of the fans cause heaps wouldnt write bout him on the net..

• Tony`s music has always given me so much. This music is something you can never get tired of. I still listen to tunes like House of love, Deep, etc. Tunes that I heard for the first time ages ago! It`s like the more you listen to them, the more you love them. That`s my opinion.
  First of all Tony is a very talented songwriter. That`s why his music is so special. But Tony is also a really great rapper and has got a cool voice. When I heard some of his new songs in his garage a while ago, I was really impressed. So honestly, Tony really deserves a record deal. If I had my own record company, I`d sign him right away!! • Tony's music has always been so powerful and original, unlike any other type of music. His music is so unfeigned. Tony puts his whole soul in2 his music.
