Tetsuya Mizuguchi and Kenji Sasaki, AM3's dynamic duo, are promising a direct conversion from the arcade version of this one, complete with multiplayer, Direct 3D and MMX support. This is still in its' early stages and isn't expected for a while.

Gamers can experience the thrill of ton-up racing in the driving seat
of a prestige car with Sega Touring Car Championship. Players take control
of a line up of Touring class specification cars that includes an AMG Mercedes
C-Class, Alfa Romeo 155 V6T, Toyota Supra and an Opel Calibra V6 to race
on a selection of stunningly rendered tracks and circuits.

Demo lets you drive one car (Opel Calibra V6) 2 laps on the Country
Circuit. Direct3D is NOT supported in this demo, Sega says they are working
on a Direct3D patch. Note: Hit ALT+S in-game to change the settings, default
screen resolution is at 320x240!

This Sega Touring Car Championship 1.02 is now compatible with Microsoft
Direct3D, allowing for improved graphics. DirectDraw and Direct3D options
can now be selected from the Graphics menu. Selecting Direct3D in the Graphics
menu results in superior quality graphics rendering, adding to the game's
enjoyment.
The Global Ranking Board problem, wherein all competitors were registered as being from Japan, has been fixed. Problems with the Ghost Car function in Time Attack Mode, using an analogue joystick, have been fixed.
The Patch is 486 kb in size.
