Stage
One
From the very first stage the Stena Line Ulster Rally
throws you in at the deep end. Though the first stage is
set under darkened skies and in pouring rain, put slicks
on the car and swap the gearbox for the second from left.
The course flies along through tight road junctions that
approach faster then you imagine. A test of skill rather
then speed, be careful not to go flat out on this stage.
Keep your eyes peeled for the junctions ahead - if you
miss them you'll damage the car and lose alot of time.
Listen out for the co-driver warning you that the 'road
dips' and slow down for a sharp twist in the road. Too
much speed here will send the car up the grass bank on
the edge of the road and will most likely cause the car
to roll. |
