The saga continues...I have nothing else to say except that to those who might've
been upset by the first chapter: You WERE warned about the violent and possibly disturbing
content in capital letters, and I would also like to note that the future chapters will have
less violence and if the violence is to get extreme...I will censor it in some way or another.
Now then, on to the story...

Chapter 2a: Discoveries

"Nothing to bring a family closer than a funeral." Professor Oak noted grimly as he saw the
ashes of Pallet City still glowing and struggling to become flames again. Oak turned his back to
the ashes as a show of sorrow and regret.
"What a senseless attack." Misty noted.
"Who could have done this?" Ash added.
"Gary." Brock answered "He probably did this."
"No. My grandson killed himself 4 years ago...most sad indeed." Oak countered the accusation.
"He was a cocky, self-confident bastard, but even I wouldn't want him dead." Ash said his own
view of the incident.
"But apparently, someone wanted *me* dead, and I know why."
"Why?" The former trio said in unison.
"This is why..." Oak showed the book he was carrying. "I am...or rather was..doing research on
on Light and Dark pokemon. I discovered some startling things in the process...even a way to
destroy the Dark pokemon."
"WHAT!?!" Ash jumped at his mentor, more than eager to find out how to destroy the people who
were responsible for the murder and destruction of his city and mother.
"That can wait...just look at the notes for various Light and Dark pokemon I've written..."
Oak handed the group the journal so that they could see.

12/14/2060,

I've noticed strange activity in the behavior of Pokemon now...it's most strange,
some are becoming more violent and beserk, others are more docile. Seeing docile and relaxed
Charizards and Blastoises while watching Pikachus and Clefairies violently attack each other
must be one of the strangest things I've ever seen...

-Micheal Oak

12/16/2060,

It's worse than I thought...not only are there pokemon that attack each other,
there has been split-ups between pokemon groups or "tribes" of the same species. I've been
monitoring a flock of pidgeys for some time now, and have I saw that when I went to check up
on them...those that hadn't killed each other were fighting each other or hiding from the rest.
This is strange..just last month, when a charmander barely spooked one of the older birds, the
rest of the flock didn't attack the said charmander, they defended themselves and flew away...
what is causing this violence to happen?

-Micheal Oak

It's the start of a new year...and I'm starting to doubt if we will see
another. Riots are happening, pokemon are becoming more violent. I'm going to have to increase
the age requirment for pokemon training to 12 if the pokemon don't calm down.

1/7/2061

I've seen the most incredible thing...I think I may have discovered a new type
of pokemon! Not just a new species..but a new TYPE! A new class! I caught but a glimpse of it
before it disappeared..it was a small and child-like, it sung a sweet song...

"HEY! I saw this type of pokemon in a dream this morning!" Ash exclaimed at the sudden rush of
deja vu that attacked him.
"Y...you..did?" Oak was surprised at this little turn of events.
"Yeah...it was weird, a child-like pokemon...the singing, and there was this large tall pokemon,
a bit taller than a Mewtwo and darker. All I will say is that if it's a sign of things to come..
I don't like it." Ash noted in a grim tone.
"Keep reading...it could help you survive a Dark trainer for more than 30 seconds, if your
lucky."
Ash more or less ignored the comment and kept reading.

I saw another pokemon...looked like a very black raichu, except the raichu's tail was a *very*
deadly sycthe. Looking at the tail I saw that this was no ordinary Raichu. My thoughts were
comfirmed by the fact that this pokemon's cry was "Oscurai". Hmm....I suppose that this could be
a sign of things to come...whether it's good sign or not is yet to be seen.

Life as we know it could come to a sudden halt if this continues. I'm seeing
riots happen more frequently. I'm seeing more and more of these new types arrive. It's possible
that the new-found violent behavior of the old types and humans could be traced to these new
pokemon types. I've seen 50 new types arrive, I've classified 25 of these new types as the
"Light" type and 25 others as the "Dark" type. I belive the violence is due to the "Dark" type
pokemon, they seem to corrupt people with their dark essence. I would attempt to train and
capture one, but I wouldn't want to take the risk of the dark pokemon corrupting me. I would
most certainly prefer these evil pokemon to be...no wait...pokemon are NEVER truely evil, could it
be that the facts will be disproven? No, I must get some rest, let my thoughts sort themselves
out in the tranquility of my dreams.

-Micheal Oak

This is it. Dark times are upon us. The end will be upon us soon. I've been
taken matters into my own hands by conducting tests(taken place on some of my best computers)
on how to destroy the Darkness. The tests included 2 vs 1, 1 vs 1, 25 vs 25. I've been surprised
especially by how the 25 vs 25 worked...it ALWAYS ended with one side or the other destroyed...
sometimes ending with Light side destroyed.

-Micheal Oak

-----------------------
"So let me guess...that's our mission?" Misty pointed to the information about the 25 vs 25
tests.
"Yes, if you can unite all 25 Light pokemon, there could be some hope against destroying the
Darkness."
"Don't worry mom, I won't let you down." Ash mumbled, re-instating his vow.
"What was that Ash?" Misty had heard Ash's vow.
"Nothing."
Misty just nodded her head in understanding.

Notes on Light and Dark Pokemon

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

There was blood on this page and the pages were torn out at this point.
"Huh!? Where's the rest?" Ash wildly flipped through the rest of the untorn pages, which were
all blank.
"I lost those notes last night, I was assualted by some unknown, most likely a Dark trainer."
"Hmm...yeah I see. Professor Oak is almost the ultimate Light trainer, Dark trainers would
want him dead, if just to slow down the process of their destruction. I would know...I was just
a victim of a riot." Brock decided it was time for him to say his peice.
"Yes, you put a good answer there Brock. Ash, if you want to know, the missing information is
on a backup here." Professor Oak took out a small chip and asked for Ash's pokedex.
"My pokedex? Here." Ash handed over his pokedex. Professor Oak looked opened the small
encyclopedia and inserted the chip. He handed back the pokedex.
"There. You now have all the Light and Dark pokemon programmed in."
"Thanks. Now where do we go from here?"
"I'll go with you three all the way to Cerulean City, then I'll just stay there, I hope I can
keep it from becoming...this." Oak pointed to the smoldering rubble that used to be Pallet.
"Yeah...come on, Viridian City isn't too far from here." Ash motioned the group to leave.

Chapter 2b: Hello and Goodbye can be said at the same time.

"Pikachu, come out." Ash got his pokeball and released the small rodent
"Pikachu!? I thought he didn't like his pokeball!" Oak said was startled.
"Yeah, but I got her to finally accept it about a year ago. She hasn't come out in a while." Ash
responded cheerfully.
"Well..come on, we might as well get to Viridian City before it gets dark...you never know." Brock
stated hastily.

The group heard leaves rustling in the treetops. They looked up to see a crouched
figure. The figure leaped down onto the ground. As the enigma stood up, the trio could see
that it was a young woman, she was tall, she had open, but slit-like eyes. She wore a red coat,
and wore black pants. She had a stren expression on her face.
"Whoa! She's beautiful!" Brock walked close to her and put his arm around her. "Wanna go out
sometime?" The girl said nothing and instead pushed Brock away with surprisingly incredible
force.
The girl said nothing, but she pointed her finger at Ash and the Pikachu, followed
by the girl taking out her pokeball.
"You wanna battle eh? Pikachu! I choose you!" Ash sent out the adorable rodent out into combat.
The girl, still quiet, took out her pokeball and sent out a unique pokemon..it was strange, like
a Charmander...but it was white, the fire on the tail was instead a bright star-like light. The
cry was "Akarmander". Ash instinctively pointed his pokedex at this new pokemon.
"Akarmander, a Light/Fire pokemon. It's similar to a Charmander, but it is slightly more
powerful and with more Light-based attacks."
The battle was already one-way in the beginning, that was comfirmed later by
the way akarmander was giving Pikachu some serious punishment. Pikachu was being slapped this
way and that, Ash knew better than to let her be nearly killed.
"Pikachu! Come back!" Pikachu was running back toward his owner when the other trainer took out
a sharp looking white stone and threw it at Pikachu. The stone went right through the rodent,
Pikachu hit the ground.
"PIKACHU!" Ash yelled.
"NO!" Misty was shocked at the event.
"WHAT THE..?!"
The girl stood there, smirking slightly.
"Chu...pi..pikachu.." Pikachu said. There was no blood. Pikachu's body began glowing, then she
changed her form while glowing.
"I..I..I think it's evolving." Oak said satisfied with the situation.
The new form looked at it's surroundings and cheerfully said "Pikalus!"
Ash pointed the pokedex at the Pikalus.
"Pikalus, a Light/Electric pokemon, it's tail is more mouse-like which leaves a trail of light
whenever moved. Pikalus is a formidable pokemon."
Ash took a closer look at his old friend turned new. She had a long, mouse-like tail, she was
white with yellow stripes on it's back. Ash was about to thank the girl, but she was gone.
"Alright then, get in the ball now Pikalus." Ash tossed a pokeball at Pikalus. Pikalus whipped
it's long tail at the pokeball, the trail of light disintegrated the pokeball instantly. Ash
tried again, only to be responded with the loss of another pokeball.
"I guess it's like old times again." Ash said shaking his head in a cheerful manner.
"Yeah, best if we continue on toward Viridian." Oak said. The others nodded their heads as they
continued on the trail.
