Dear intelligent life form,

___________ It's been 1000 since World War III started...it's been 1000 years since the nuclear war. If you didn't know, the nuclear war or as some people like to call it, "The Final Conflict" began in 1999 when Technology exceeded it's safe limit. Technology became so important to the nations of the world that they built and built on their technology until they noticed that they had massive weapons of destruction. Then some the counties had some crazy idea that they could conquer the world...boy were they wrong, then so began World War III. That's what got us in this mess of a world. During the war, the "rich" people joined together to build massive cities with large domed glass shields protecting them from the war. Unfortunately, the people like my family weren't one of those people. In 2019 the war ended but for the people who survived, it wasn't the same earth they had grown up in. It is said that the sky was once blue, that would mean that the sky changed from blue to purple and yellow from the radiation and chemical's of the war. The air is now thick and black and the water like oil. After the war, the ozone layer grew massive holes where the sun spilled it's ray's into and the ground became barren and bare. As for the people, the ones that were living outside were already starting to evolve from all the changes plus the sun burnt at their skin but instead of dying they grew thick layers of greyish gold skin which pealed off every month. The people inside the cities called the new breed of human's "Debasions" because they said we were lower in quality than them and we didn't deserve the name "Human". The rain turned the barren land to a slimy black which the creatures of the land ate. The animals you might have known were now mostly gone and new creatures were arriving, more deadlier creatures. As for the people inside the domes, they were as good as normal with their pleasant creatures and nice parks, trees, air, and clean water. They sometimes sent some extra sewerage water out for us to drink if we gave them something in return like a stuffed rare creature or some supplies they needed. While all the debasions on the outside were trying to survive the human's inside created new technology and products that we would need. Some examples were air machines that cost money and clean water machines and sun block. Although the Humans looked better then us, we were stronger and immune to many things on the outside. In case we ever tried to rebel, the human's made armies and used their high-tech machines to help them like Hoverbombers, Zipaloids, and WarMachines, and many more. The Debasion's divided into two groups, the "Jackals" and the "WolfPack". Both hated the human's but did not agree with each other, there were also Nomad's and Outcast's who just went on their own and usually got killed by the neXus. The Jackal's and WolfPack built fortress' reaching up to 60 stories high and under ground they had their rooms and all over the land they had different access tunnels leading to all sorts of places. During these year's the plates have been shifting causing constant earthquakes and by now the pieces of land were all connected together. I must go now, I shall continue this later...

___________ David stood up from his table David and walked over to the bridge. From the intercom he hear's a crackle.

___________ "Were taking some pretty heavy fire out here!"

___________ "Hold on Hunter, I'm on my way"

___________ After hearing the news he tells Jane to stay and listen to what goes on and he run's to his WarMachine and calls for a squad of 8 people to go with him. Hunter and his men were scattered all over the shopping mall, cars and bikes and Hoverbombers were everywhere. He couldn't see anything but fire and explosions and his partners frying up in their seats smelling the aroma of their own flesh burning right before they die. It was the Jackals. Hunter was getting fired at from all sides, he could see his armor go down rapidly. He looked down at his dashboard and could hear the sound of his alarm that told him his armor was gone, they were still firing at him. His throat was dry with fear, with the sweat dripping from his hand he pulled the latch of his door and sprinted out and jumped into a close by store. From behind the counter he could hear his car explode into pieces. He reached into his shirt and clutched onto his gun, as he took it out he stood up facing his car. Using the counter for a shield he checked the area for any close by Jackals. From out of the smoke his car had made came David, sliding into the action. As soon he came into the scene he blasted the two Hoverbombers with his duel missile launcher mounted on the top of his rig. Then he used his flame thrower to burn the Jackal that was behind him. Without hesitation, he change the gears and slammed onto the pedal crashing right into a close by car. Hunter saw the car smash through the window of the second floor and crash into the ground causing the window to shatter apart and spread across the gravel floor. About 5 minutes later after all the Jackals were taken care of David stopped by Hunter to let him get in.

___________ "HQ, this Cole, the situation here has been taken care of Hunter is aboard and is doing fine, send a search team here for some spare parts"

___________ "Got that Cole, HQ out"

___________ Cole turned into the level 3 access tunnel and start back home. When they arrived Hunter hoped out of the car and headed for the garage to get a new rig. Cole went his usual routine and walked over to the bar and got a glass of sYn and a block of a lunch meal. He sat down at the closest table and started his meal. After his meal Cole just sat in his chair and slowly fell asleep...Cole was awoken with the sound of a door crashing open and out came Hunter with the most pissed off face Cole had ever seen.

___________ "What happen to you?"

___________ "Since my old rig is destroyed, there giving me a rig with so little armor if spat on it, it would fall apart. That's until I can salvage a nice one.

___________ "What are you two talking about?", asked Jane

___________ "Hunter over here is getting the oldest rig in the garage"

___________ "Okay, well anyway, Hunter, your going on a patrol route tomorrow, don't forget"

___________ The next day Jane's squad went out to the airport. As they were checking out the scene, down came a fleet of helicopter's. The copter's surrounded them in a matter of seconds. As quick as she could, Jane radioed in on home base and told them the situation. Jaranto Creed, the Debasion's leader was on the receiving end of the radio.

___________ "Don't worry, make a diversion then, with your group scatter across the area and tell everyone to find the closes access tunnel"

___________ Jane told everyone the plan then she told Hunter to go make a diversion. With that Hunter put his accelerator on and raced down the spiral ramps then skidded into a turn at the bottom and made his way to the areo wind tunnel. Five helicopters broke off from the rest and started chasing him. He was pressing down on the gas as hard as he could, the copters started blasting away at him, he could feel the sweat dripping down his face. He could hear the roof slowly giving way to the firing, then he saw the tunnel passed a dune. He started a series of swerves and turns so not to be hit by the gun fire. As his armor was about to give way he neared the tunnel, then he turned into it . As he was almost inside, one copter sent out a blazing missile. Hunter saw it crash down on the side of his car. It started in a series of flips until it crashed right through the wall causing him to shoot of his car window and into the dirt. The squad in the airport blasted out into the open but used a scatter tactic to confuse the enemy. They were able to make it to the tunnels with out one casualty. When Hunter awoke he saw the moon and noticed it was night, the creatures would be around. He glanced over to his car and saw that it was gone, the Nomad's must have stolen it. He walked to the tunnel and started his long journey home. That night David sat down in his room and turned on his computer...

___________ ...The neXus may have eaten Hunter, I hope not. The neXus is a race that is feared by even the human's for they are cunning, fast, and they fight in number's. There are different types of neXus, there are the flying ones which we call the "Nemesis", there are the land ones which are the "Crawlers" and the worm's which are the "Miners". The Nemesis and Crawlers are exactly alike except for the wings which belong to the Nemesis. They have been seen going up to 70 miles an hour and jumping up to 30 feet high. They are colored black and come out from the ground. The Miner's are very different from the Crawler's, they have no legs or arm's. But they can reach up to 140 miles and hour, and that hard to believe when they can grow up to 80 ft. Long and 10 ft. Wide. These creatures can attack the cities because they enter under the dome, that is why the human's fear them. The neXus use a special high pitched sound which pops their enemies ears and paralyzes them so they can eat them still fresh and alive but without a struggle. The crawlers make this sound with two spikes that stick out from their backs. They have been rapidly multiplying in numbers lately so I fear we shall have a war with them, again. Something is coming I mus-----

___________ All the power went off, David heard a rumbling then a crash, it was the neXus. He dashed for his bedside table but couldn't see a thing so he hit his head on the table. He held his head and could feel his blood dripping down through his hands. He felt around until he got his ear muffs, these would help him from falling down in pain. He stood up and took his gun and flashlight. He kicked open the door and he could hear screams from the other room's, the Crawlers must not be here yet he thought. He turned on the flashlight and raced down the hall into Janes room. As he got close to it, it burst open and out came Jane with a shotgun in the palms of her hand's. As they both continued down the hall to Jaranto's room they could hear the breathing of a neXus behind them, they both turned around very slowly and saw a Crawler at the end of the hall. They grabbed for their ear muffs just as the neXus was about to put his two spikes together. From under the muffs they could hear the endless screeching sound, similar to that, that the crickets make. As they turned around and started running the neXus leaped forward and charged for them. David open a door behind him the neXus crashed right into to causing a huge dent to form on it. As they raced down the hall they saw Jaranto's body fall out from his room, there was blood covering him all over.

___________ "Get that neXus son of ahh..."

___________ After Jaranto finished his final words he slowly choked on his own blood and started coughing and then lay still without movement.

___________ "May his soul rest in peace"

___________ Jane and David ran to the garage and jumped into a WarMachine. David turned the ignition and they drove out into the closest access tunnel. As they were racing down the tunnel in full throttle a neXus jumped into the middle of their way in an attempt to stop them but they slammed right through it. As they were nearing the end the ground cracked open and out came a Miner with it's mouth wide open showing what was previously one of the cars in the garage. As the Miner was about to chomp up the WarMachine it's head burst open and the glass of the car was full of red and black goo. After wiping it off David and Jane could see the faded image of a man, then out from the shadows came Hunter with a missile launcher packed on his shoulder. He got in the car and all three of them escaped the underground halls now infested with neXus. They drove and drove until they found sanctuary by a waterfall near the city of Villibuis. For the next few days they all stayed their until one foggy morning Jane thought of an idea.

___________ "What if we enter the city through the water system?"

___________ "How would we get in the water system?", asked Hunter

___________ "There might be an under water passage way though this river where the waterfall lands into",said David

___________ After discussing what they were going to do they thought of entering the city and opening up the shield's leaving the Human's vulnerable to the weather and the neXus. They got what gear they could from the car and dived under the water... They reached the surface and they found themselves in an old run down room with moss growing everywhere. They stepped out of the water and took out there weapons. They opened a close by door really slowly then saw a guard standing right in front of it. They grabbed him and made him tell them where the control room was. They covered their faces and bodies with cloths so that the human's wouldn't notice them. When they approached the control room they ran in and the mechanics gave up very easily. After shutting off all the power they rushed out and got into the WarMachine. By this time the Humans now knew that they were the Debasions were there. Fleet after fleet of car's chased the debasions out from the city. David put up the gear and stepped on the gas as hard as he could. The human's were chasing them with all sort's of machines. Hill after hill the humans were shooting at them, then finally after coming up a hill they saw millions of the neXus just standing there. David slammed on the brakes, the car swerved around and faced the human's. He pounded on the gas and threw all the sand into the neXus. As the car came to the human's, they swerved to the side smashing into the neXus. The neXus jumped up into the car's and other machines. David and Jane could see the car's crashing into each other in the rearview mirror. They left the the human's to the neXus and they drive back to the base. After the neXus finished killing the human's they went to each city and destroyed each one by using the miners to enter the shield's. After the neXus kill all the human's they go to hunt down Jane and David.

___________ ...I hope someone finds this letter, I'm sending 5,000 of these out. The neXus are roaming the halls, we only have enough food for 3 months. Please send help, we are stuck in one room. Send help, make sure they're armed.
