      loops> well chy and i are getting ready to hand over the complete running of league to these two... they will handle everything
      loops> unless they feel we should step in
      loops> both have a great deal of experience with league as a player and ref so they should handle it fine
      loops> we don't expect to be called on that often...
      loops> We will still be watching over every round and advising in the background however that will be the extent of our in
      loops> volvment this season 

    Solariz> I spoke with Mulder about his new responsiblity with league... sounds like very capable hands :)

      loops> we have complete confidence in both Mulder and tango 

    Solariz> Do you think we all (squads,refs,co-ordinators,you) are ready for league right now?

      loops> dunno only time will tell. i certainly hope so

    Solariz> Anything you are particually excited about this year in league?

      loops> well 
      loops> Chy and i put a proposal to the captains of splitting the league into two divisions this season
      loops> we feel that DSB League split into two divisions will be a great deal more interesting for the squaddies as they will be
      loops> playing against other squads of similar ability
      loops> this way squads like redhawks, protection won't have every second game as a walk over win, (which wasn't all that much
      loops> fun)
      loops> It will also hopefully encourage the squads that are newer and smaller to continue playing. one thing we don't want to
      loops> see this season is the attrition rates of last season. 
      loops> this will hopefully solve at least some of that.

    Solariz> Sounds like a very interesting idea, from the people I've talked to, that is indeed the answer to some of the biggest
    Solariz> worries about league.

      loops> we certainly hope so... and we hope the captains see it this way as well when they vote on it

    Solariz> How would you decide who goes to which division?

      loops> we will run 3 "offical friendly" rounds and decide from there. 

    Solariz> Ahh I see, well best of luck on that measure. I take it the captains will vote on it at the upcoming Captain's Meeting

    Solariz> Speaking of which, any comments on that meeting?

      loops> except i hope every captain turns up

    Solariz> How do you feel about the refs this year? Many old faces have left and new ones brought in.

      loops> they're tango's responsibiility i'm sure he will train and adminstrate them to the best of his ability

    Solariz> Any changes we'll be seeing this year in league? Any you want to make, aside from the 2 division idea?

      loops> thats upto the captains to decide ... there is nothing major mainly to do with squad numbers 

    Solariz> Can you forsee any problems afflicting the league this timea round?

      loops> well i'm sure it will run a little smoother this season compared to last. the biggest problems will be
      loops> squads disolving
      loops> packetloss/ping problems
      loops> incompetent reffing
      loops> but aside from those it should all be fine ;)
