They are the two main items everyone should have to run Quake 1 or 2. As saind before
it will lookup a list of servers and then 'PING' them (pinging is where small packets
of data are sent to the host (server), the ping is the time for the host to send the packect back).
You will have access to hunderds of Quake and Quake two servers.

QuakeOn is a superb utility that lets you run quake without typing a thing!
No need to type the name of the mod, the name of the map, nothing. QuakeOn will do it for
you. You can even tell it to connect to a server on running Quake! A key feature
not found in many others, is the profiles! Yes you can have as many profiles as

Pakie is a cruel name but an superb DOS .pak editior. At last you can add, replace and delete files commpressed within a .pak file! I recomend this if you want to make your own mods and levels, becase hiding your stuff from less experienced exsploiters is esential.

Only download this if you can programe in C or C+/C++. It's very hard to exsplain how to programe in QuakeC, but it get easyer as you go along. The file is just the source code and nothing else, no editor, just the source code!

ThreeWave CTF is unboubtably the BEST CTF mod avalible. It has all the sounds, MDL's and LEVELS. Another adition is that thers a TWCTF BOT about on the net, so you can practise your ctf skills!
