These are ALMOST the final stages of PS2, the only differences I know about are as follows: 2 more controller ports might be coming, DVD might be straight outa the box, and the PS2 log might be changed to something else.

*Note*- A PocketStation 2 is also being planned to release with PS2. Rumors say it might be packaged in the box, let's hope there's some truth to that.
