A hypothetical battle between Union and Confederate Naval forces. Rules are "Under two flags", run by Glenn Broome
The Union are raiding a Confederate anchorage, their objectives sink and/or capture as many Rebel ships as possible and destroy as many docks as possible.
Confederates at dock or anchor.
The Union begin entering in 2 columns each lead by a 22 gun sloop.
One rebel captain was so spooked he ran his ship aground after undocking.
The rest of the Confederates begin moving to meet the foe.
The foe is now revealed in all his might.
Brave Rebel captains moving to engage the Union,are set alight by long range shellfire. The "C.S.S. Manassas" dawddles along at full speed
Rebel Blockade runner "Curlew makes a break for safety upstream.
Another Rebel captain rams a dock, while the other rebel captain writes his report on the grounding of his vessel.
The Rebel ship "Patrick Henry" and some unpronounceable name Union sloop ram bows on.
Report written, the Rebel captain almost rams the "Govenor Moore" as he backs ups.
A battered and brave Rebel attempts to ram one of the Union Sloops.
But Gunfire sinks him before he can make contact. The "Patrcick Henry" reversing up the river in front of unpronounceable Sloop while another Union ship passes on his port side.
