The Battle of Savage Station

An American Civil War Battle from "Wargames Illustrated". The battle was played as written, except we did away with the rail mounted gun.

This battle used the "Fire and Fury" rules, figures are 10mm. Run by Jim Esler.

The first rebel reinforcements begin arriving.

This rebel assault tied down many Union troops that would have been more useful nearer Savage station.

Time constraints forced an end to the game, but all agreed the rebels would have eventually managed to capture savage station.
