Mediterranea - The First Italian Virtual Airline Arlanda NOTAM

Abstract of Rules for Mediterranea

In this section we will briefly describe the rules that as a Mediterranea pilot you must follow.

Lines and Adventures

There are different type of flights, and their availability is based on the number of hours you have flown, so based on your rank and your esperience as a pilot. The documentation that is furnished with every assignment includes the flight plan, maps, approach plates and indication of additional scenery needed, already prepared situations and sometimes full adventures in FSFS(tm) or Win Planner(tm). It is evident that the use of other commercial products is not mandatory for performing the assignments. Because of the increasing difficulty and length of the assigned flights, it is evident that we will be developping touristic, business, continental flights at first. Then we will extend to the intercontinental flights.

Mediterranea has organized its flights under different categories:

  • Turistic (Cessna 182RG, Beech C55 Baron)
  • Technical (Cessna 182RG, Sf260, DHA-3, Helicopters)
  • Business (Learjet, JetStar II)
  • National (ATR-42, Embraer, B737-300)
  • Continental (MD-11, ATR-42, Embraer, B737-300)
  • Intercontinental (B777, B747)

Ranking and other Communication

Monthly on the web page we will publish the pilot list with ranks and accumulated capital.

Furthermore there will be a monthly report of activities undergone during the month, and eventually comunication for upcoming events and activities.

Report

At the end of every flight the pilot will compile the report (see the instructions on How to Compile the Report) in order to enable Mediterranea to register the hours and assign the payments.

Scenery, Airports, Planes

Scenery: Any scenery you may have can be used and in the flight plan it will be taken into account that not everybody has the availability of commercial sceneries. So we will use standard sceneries from Flight Simulator and freeware sceneries.

Airports: Mediterranea has prepared hangars and offices for its main airports. In a lot of other airports you will also find hangars, buildings, static and dynamic sceneries belonging to Mediterranea. These sceneries will be available for download on the sites of Mediterranea.

Aircrafts: On every flight plan there will be indicated the aircraft that should be used. These aircrafts which are designed with the Mediterranea colors can be found on Internet or on our sites.
