Message to Pilots for the Third Year of Activity

Hello to all.

We wanted to send you this message so as to underline our objectives and goals for the coming year.

1999 is going to be a year full of new ideas and rich in happenings within the world of the Virtual Airlines.

Mediterranea wants to remain alive in the VA world and has decided to continue developing the initial project created by Daniele Vasi and Francesco Trizza, three years ago.

Before I start to illustrate the new ideas, I would like to thank the people that are behind the success of the company.

First of all I want to thank you, PILOTS. With your enthusiasm, you gave us and permitted us to continue this wonderful adventure.

A special thanks, I would like to direct it mainly to the two Mediterranea's pillars, Philippe Boyer e Massimo Gelati. Without them, at this moment Mediterranea would not exist.

The management of our Hubs, the continuous work in cataloguing your flights, the assignments, basically the management of the operation of the company is in their hands; and I can assure you that its not an irrelevant activity.

Of course, the trust that you have given us during these years, repays for all the effort that was spent.

Last but not least, I would like to thank all the persons that have, that are and that will contribute to the development of the Airline and of our Hobby.

The Future

As we were saying at the beginning of the letter, 1999 announces itself as a year full of surprises and of new ideas for the VA world.

The Hubs activity and their Web sites will proceed. Philippe Boyer and Massimo Gelati will continue the management of all the operations related to the Hubs. Pilots operations, flights, problem solving, etc...

The continuous development and maintenance of the Mediterranea Main Site done by me and of the other sites dedicated to the Hubs, by Philippe and Massimo. Furthermore the idea and development of the "Flight School", which is having a great success, will proceed.

The collaboration of some friends will enable us to continuously update the "school" with new articles, new lessons so as to render flight simulation closer to reality.

Mediterranea, the First Italian Virtual Airline, will continue its work and its growth, with the help of new collaborators and overall with the unchanged enthusiasm of the staff.

So to conclude, we invite you to stay tuned to us but mostly to let your engine on ;-) and look forward to your next flights.

I wanted to add a special thank to Giampietro that did not want to add his name. But I can assure you (he has defined us as pillars) that he is another main pillar for the company, and that without his patience and his dedication, Mediterranea would not exist.

I want to thank all of you for flying with us, and in particular I want to thank the new and old collaborators, and also the Mediterranea Staff for their enthusiasm which makes it a pleasure working with them.
