| "Pokémon" isn't Japanese for "Pocket Monsters". No. It's short for Pocket Monsters. That's it! This was 'cause Pocket Monsters was trademarked in the west before it arrived(the cheats!) so Nintendo of America decided to adapt to what many gamers already abrev. it to- Pocke-mon. And what's so good about it?! That's a crap question! The game was a big hit in Japan and America(Dunno why) and it did in Britain. Except Oldham, where people have no taste in games(except me of course!). The RPG isn't "gay". It's fun and pretty addictive 'cause I'm not the RPG lover, but Pokémon is the first I like. | |||||||||||||||||

| Basically you run around the world of Pokémon and fight then catch a wild Pokémon. Easy? No. The Pokémon in your area are about the same level as yours, so it'll come to a tough fight usually, unless the tactics are good. You must run round to gyms, defeat the leader and earn all the badges. Then you head onto Victory road, and onto Indigo Plateu(oh how do you spell it now?) | |||||||||||||||||
