This is a simple interpreter, modeled after LogoWriter. The version available for download here is sorely lacking, but is still vaguely cool. LogoWriter is a geometry/programming teaching tool developed originally at MIT. It eventually was ported and improved to a variety of platforms, for example the Apple II (where I used it). I believe it's use in schools has declined with the advent of the Macintosh and more powerful computing methods, simply because there is so much more to teach that there isn't time. In my opinion this is a shame, because Logo is a lot of fun and remains my second favorite computer language, right after C/C++. Its main strength is that it is so easy to create fun and interesting graphics, without worrying about video modes, double buffers, etc. Arthur is my homage to that.
