The Remembrance

Chronicled by DL-Cobalt, Star Colonel & Loremaster

This history, handed down from our forebears of Klan Karnage, and more recently The Gods of War, will stand as testimony and witness to the great accomplishments and exploits of the Clan Dark Legion; We Who Walk The Honor Road, Descendants of the Star League, Scions of Armageddon and the Scourge of the QTL...

Saturday, Oct.4 3097 - Trial of Position Reports
Shrapnel defeated Bloody Finger for Finger's Nova Commander position (Finger is now Star Captain). Lord Ace took Pahgo's Star Colonel position (Pahgo is now retired).
The Loremaster received this HPG transmission from Comstar, on 10/3 - "What started out as a joke between friends quickly turned into a war. Kharn, who was positive that he could beat Merchant with his class 4 Stormcrow, challenged Merchant to a ToP. Merchant, being the honorable warrior he is, accepted the challenge. It was played in the Carse mission, temp hot, grav .75. Kharn jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, but Merchant fought back to tie it up. With the score tied at 4-4 Kharn charged at Merchant in what seemed to be a kamikaze attack; this strategy worked in Kharn's favor, making it 5-4. Now, with both mechs at full strength, the 2 played cat-and-mouse, until Kharn lured Merchant into a trap. In a shower of missile fire, Merchant's Stormcrow crumbled, giving Kharn the victory. 'Twas a well fought battle by both warriors." - DL-Kharn
Kharn takes Merchant's Star Captain position; Merchant is now 1st Mechwarrior. Thanks, Kharn, for the excellent report Battle Reports - 5 HP battle reports were filed with the TGW Loremaster today
SaKhan WarKat & Star Colonel Lord Ace defeated SCs SaKhan Papermate & Star CrowT in a class 1 battle, 6-5, for 210 points
Star Colonel OneEyeBill & 2nd Mech Gunner-IA were defeated by WPs Star Colonel Silencer & 1st Mech Meado on Galuzza in a class 4 battle.
WarKat & Lord Ace defeated SCs NovaComms Kutuluene & Capn Cave, earning 150 points with a score of 9-7.
In an unusual outcome, Nova Commander Shrapnel & OneEyeBill defeated WPs Galcomm Trailblazer & NovaComm Eskorakas, earning 175 points in a 2 to -3 victory! Characterized by numerous technical problems and repeated overheats, this was Shrapnel's 1st hp victory with the rank of NovaComm.
WarKat & Lord Ace defeated WPs GalComm Jammin1 & StarCol Chainsin, earning 160 points in a 7-5 final score.

Wednesday, Oct.8, 3097 - Promotions
Congratulations to all newly-promoted warriors, long-awaited & well-deserved; the Dark Legion will now have higher-ranked warriors to acquire honor and glory for the clan. We WILL gain our rightful place as the most powerful & respected clan of all!
WAR REPORT - It's been another productive week for the TGW/DL. Between 10/4 - 10/8, we fought 10 battles, winning 5 and gaining 1192 honor points, more than any other clan. Congrats to all DL warriors!
Victory over DJC - Khan WarKat & Nova Commander Shrapnel defeated Khan Ogremagi & NovaComm Draggin, earning 275 points; well done, DL!

Saturday, Oct.11, 3097 - FROM THE FRONT LINES
Between 10/10-11, the Loremaster received 6 hp battle reports, all wins! Read on...
NovaComm Shrapnel & StarCol Gunner edged out a well-fought battle at Tinaca vs. CPs Timberwolves and BluePoet, 8-7
WarKat & Lord Ace defeated Death Jester Combine stalwarts Steal (NovaComm) & Reaper (StarComm) 7-2. 'Kat & Ace kept things rolling as follows; beat CPs E-Dog & Pale Horseman twice, 6-3 and 9-2, beat CPs E-Dog & BluePoet 5-3, and beat SCs Capn Cave & Hubuz 7-2. A marvelous 2-day carnage-fest, well-deserving of our praise and respect!

Monday, Oct.13, 3097 - FROM THE FRONT LINES
The Loremaster received 5 battle reports for 10/12-13, as follows:
SaKhan Chico-Ne & GalComm OneEyeBill swept aside DJCs StarCol Maddog-Hoek & StarCapt Sacrafice in a class 1 battle in the snowy wastes of Ramsau. The DL tandem also faced down DJC again, in the persons of GalComm Draggin & StarCol Maddog-Hoek, this time in a class 4 battle in the heat of Ramsau's equatorial region; the final tally was 5-3
WarKat & Lord Ace engaged WPs Redjack & Jammin, emerging victorious, 5-2
The Khan and SaKhan split 2 engagements with WP, defeating Cyril (Khan) & NovaComm Fish Food in a class 1 clash in frosty Ramsau, 9-1, and narrowly dropping a repeat engagement at Hainfield, 5-7. The Khan describes the action as follows: "The 1st battle, Chico and I really rocked 'em, but in the 2nd, they used their "bunkering" strategy again, and I made a fatal error. Chico was in a DireWolf, and I was in a TimberWolf. When Chico died, the missiles that would've insured our victory were on their way, but they didn't travel swiftly enough. My mistake was not waiting for Chico, as his speed was much less than mine. This was a hard lesson learned (allowing for the speed differential between starmates)."

Tuesday, Oct.14, 3097 - WAR REPORT
The Dark Legion continue to set the standard for honor point accumulation; between 10/9 and 10/14, we fought 16 battles, winning 10 and amassing 1,927 points. Keep it up, Dark Legionnaires, and the universe will soon be ours!!!

Thursday, Oct.16, 3097 - PROMOTION
Congratulations are due to DL-Mechsiren on her promotion to the rank of Star Commander. She has completed recruit training, and now joins the DL's fighting ranks; thanks to all who observed her while in recruit status.
The Dark Legion also welcomes back DL-Merchant (now Star Captain DeathMerchant) from extended leave on his home-world; his veteran prowess will be a huge asset in the Honor Points battles to come.

Sunday, Oct.19, 3097 - WAR REPORT
This has been another productive week for the DL. In the 9 days from 10/9-17, Dark Legionnaires have fought 19 battles, winning 11 and earning 2,793 points. A mighty 'Hail!' to all who helped amass this excellent total!
SUCCESSFUL DEFENSE OF 2 DL WORLDS
In the Planet wars, Khan WarKat and SaKhan Chico-Ne turned back DJCs Draggin (SaKhan) and NovaCapt Capt. Rosha, who attacked Hell's Gate, with a 6-0 win. The same duo also successfully defended the planet Chico's Bar & Grill with a 5-2 win over DJCs Draggin & NovaCol Steal. The invaders were driven off-world in no uncertain terms; well-fought, gentlemen!

Monday, Oct.20, 3097 - HP BATTLEFIELD REPORTS
In a class 4 battle, GalComm OneEyeBill & StarCol Gunner were defeated by WPs NovaComm Esko & StarCol Silencer, 5-2.
Khan WarKat & NovaCapt Lord Ace defeated WPs SaKhan Jammin1 & NovaComm Fish Food in a class 4 battle on Carse. The same 4 went at it again on Hainfield, in a cold class 4 battle. The Dark Legion emerged victorious again, 7-6.

Sunday, Oct.26, 3097: WAR REPORT
This has been a great points week for DL. In the 9 days from 10/17-26, DL warriors have fought 18 battles, winning 7 and gaining 3,199 honor points. Our average point-total-per-battle has risen to 131. We are closing in on the leading clans; kudos to all those who helped the DL amass this amazing point total!

Tuesday, Nov.4, 3097 - THE PASSING OF THE TORCH
It was with great sadness that, this week, the Dark Legion bade farewell to our Galaxy Commander & Loremaster, DL-OneEyeBill. His retirement, for personal reasons, was a sudden shock to us all; his dedication, his battle prowess & his friendship will be sorely missed by us all. If the Fates will it, our battle halls will be brightened by his presence again someday soon...
DL-Psiwolf was appointed to the vacancy, and DL-Lord Ace was promoted to Nova Colonel; 2 most deserving Warriors, the entire Clan applauds you both...
...ahh, but not all rank changes were accomplished so peacefully! I received a dramatic tale of heated warfare from DL-Shrapnel, in a brutal battle with DL-Bloody Moon for the vacant Nova Captaincy. From Shrapnel's vivid description, both warriors went at each other with fangs bared, no quarter asked and none given. Numerous overheats and several dozen Mechs later, Moon emerged the winner, 10-7; a rapturous tale such as this (from the defeated party, no less!) speaks highly of both men. Kudos to Moon, for winning the position, and to Shrapnel for honor and grace in defeat; seyla!
On Wednesday, the open rank of Nova Commander was filled. Dl-Gunner, having edged out DL-Kharn 5-3 in class 4 battle, went up against Your Gracious Loremaster (essentially drawing a 'bye' due to DL-Bloody Hell's unavoidable outside commitments) in class 1 battle at Hainfield. In a nutshell, Gunner, true to his nom de guerre, found the lag point repeatedly and palpably, taking the position of Nova Commander 5-1. I gave him the best I had, sports fans, but as they say, sometimes you get the bear, and somtimes he gets you!!! Congratulations to the new NovaComm!!!
Quite a bit else happened during this momentous week; DL-Gunship1 and DL-Xenic were promoted to 1st Mechwarrior, DL-Banish completed his training, and was promoted to Cadet, and we officially welcomed 2 to recruithood, DLr-Arcturus Star & DLr-Mr. Smilie. We also warmly welcomed back our young brother Bloody FInger into the Legion (making the "Bloody Brothers" a viable franchise once again!), and another irascible TGW mainstay made his way back to our battle hall; the one and only Malloc! That sound you just heard was the nervous murmurs of fear from the other clans; to add such talented recruits and proven fighters in one fell swoop is a DL coup, indeed!

Thursday, Nov.6, 3097 - THE GREATEST BATTLE THAT NEVER WAS!
Ah, my warrior brethren, this is a tale to remember...
It began in our battle-hall, to which Lord Ace and Cobalt had returned, after a narrow defeat to 2 WPs, one of whom was suspiciously lagging in-and-out during the 5-4 loss. We'd just finished an "animated" discussion with the 4 warriors and both clan Khans, when into our hall strutted 2 TCs, jmatthews and Woden, looking for war. Also in attendance were Star Commander Mechsiren & 1st Mechwarrior Gunship1. The unease I felt upon their entry soon proved justified; both TCs were disrespectful and insouciant, as they began bidding for the battle with WarKat
Both of these cocky louts presumed that 'Kat would lead the battle, as they were SaKhan and GalComm; so presumptuous as to NOT VERIFY THE RANKS THEY FACED DURING THE BIDDING!!! After the bidding was completed, WarKat (crafty as they come!) assigned the battle to Mechsiren & Gunship1; this, in effect, ensured a low point total for them, while guaranteeing a high one for DL.
Realizing they'd been outmaneuvered, both TCs became evasive and, eventually, abusive and derogatory. Lord Ace reviewed the entire conversation, and verified their incredible blunder. The TCs continued with their useless invective (witnessed, in part, by 2 of their clansmen, Doombreed & Tabmow), while the DL kept their cool; Gunship1 even strongly encouraged the now-cowardly TCs to click in and fight!
Well, the 15-minute forfeit limit was reached, and the TCs left our hall, with the shame of a complete forfeit on their codexes, while Mechsiren & Gunship1, in the tradition of the great Phelan Wolf, won the battle without firing a shot!!!
A tip of the Loremaster's helmet to our 2 history-making warriors, and to the mighty WarKat, for humbling 2 who richly deserved it!

Sunday, Nov.9, 3097 - WAR REPORT
As reported to the Loremaster, Saturday night is indeed alright for fighting!!!
I received a vivid recap from NovaComm DL-Shrapnel, who was on patrol with fellow NovaComm DL-Gunner on a cold eve on Tinaca, when they were accosted by 2 WPs, ZOD & Eagle (whom I believe to be Star-level officers). Our NovaComm duo obliged the WPs and, brave though they were for challenging superior forces, bludgeoned them to a 7-4 victory.
Our peerless Khan was also on the prowl last night, accompanied by GalComm DL-Psiwolf. Contrary to popular belief, felines & canines get along just fine, as 'Kat and 'Wolf bloodied their claws and fangs repeatedly on various and sundry foes. Witness; beat SCs DaGerbil & Capn Cave, 6-3; beat CPs E-Dog & Pale Horseman, 8-4; beat 2 more SCs, Black Talon & Amp 6-4. To any other clans; when the 'Kat & the 'Wolf are about, look to your lives...!
The latest roll of the MNL Tote Board reveals our Dark Legion in 3rd place, with 13,897 honor points, trailing only DJC and WP, both of whom are within reach (this total NOT counting the points from the battles described above). With the 4 victories added, we are now 65 wins, 54 losses, and we shall surely improve upon that percentage. It's even feasible that the Dark Legion could be in 1st place by the winter solstice; stay active, warriors, and it'll happen!

Sunday, Nov.9, 3097 - PROMOTIONS
Tonight we celebrated the ascension of 2 Dark Legionnaires; DL-Banish made 1st Mechwarrior, and DL-Mr. Smilie graduated from recruit training to Cadet. Congrats to both; I'm sure you both will begin seeing front-line action soon!
Meanwhile, the struggle for the open Star Colonel spot goes on, with the veteran DeathMerchant edging out CyberBum, and facing off against Captain CERC in the final. Also, 1st Mech Xenic is preparing to engage CyberBum in a ToP for his Star Captaincy. Good luck and good hunting to all participants!
In the HP arena, Warkat & Lord Ace took on DFCs Raaven (GalComm) & Draconis Rex (NovaCol), the result was a lopsided 8-0 win for the Dark Legion. A standing ovation, please!!!

Monday, Nov.10, 3097 - BATTLE REPORT
11:35pm/EDT, Derf - Gray smoke spiralled into the suddenly-still air from the multi-barrelled UltraAutocannon, disrupted only by the sound waves of the Marauder's external speakers as its pilot, Lord Ace, called "Hold!"
Just visible in the fading dusk were 2 other denizens of the just-ended battle, SaKhan Draconis Rex of the Dark Flame Clan, and Star Colonel Cobalt of the Dark Legion. Their 2 mounts, a Warhawk and a TimberWolf respectively, settled into shutdown cycle, both shattered, one-legged remnants of their original glory; it was a testament to the superiority of Clan technology that either machine even functioned at all. As if to remind them of their mechs' once-potent state, the pristine WarHammer of the DFC's Khan Compy had just missed rejoining the fray, having been taken down by the last furious volley from that selfsame Marauder-mounted UAC-20.
At Lord Ace's behest, all involved Warriors totalled their kills; after a brief pause, the arena's battle-computer announced, in its atonal mechanical voice, "Dark Legion 8, Dark Flame Clan 4". All 4 MechWarriors dismounted, gathered and shook hands, as technicians and support vehicles began to swarm over the battered mechs like some flesh-and-metal tide. Both clan's pilots then went their separate ways into the cool Derf evening, the DFC no doubt planning for a different outcome when next they met, and the DL to revel in the victory and bask in their growing renown...
(The results are accurate, somewhat fictionalized though the retelling; blame the creative bent of the Loremaster!)

Tuesday, Nov.12 3097 - BATTLE REPORT
Dark Legionnaires Nova Commander Gunner & 1st MechWarrior Banish fought a class 1 battle against WPs Destructor and Jzar tonight. By all accounts, our new 1st Mech acquitted himself well in what I believe was his 1st hp battle; alas, the WPs pulled out a narrow 7-5 victory. If experience is the yardstick by which warriors can be measured, Banish has graded far beyond the curve, and has a bright DL future ahead. All hail Banish & Gunner!

Saturday, Nov.15, 3097 - HP Battle Report
It may have been a slow week for hp battles, or it may have been enemy interference jamming our communications; Dark Legion HQ didn't receive many battle reports this week, although I personally saw many Dark Legionnaires in evidence throughout the week (and participated in several battles myself).
Banish & I took on, and defeated, 2 WPs, StarCol Crowsnest & 1st Mech Adain, in a class 4 battle at Hainfield on 11/12 (I'd like to thank WP Khan Cyril, for his gracious batchall bargaining); final score 8-4. My wingman Banish handles a Stormcrow really well, and contributed 3 kills to the victory.
Our mighty WarKat had a busy night last night, teaming up with the ever-present Lord Ace, to repeatedly spank TC, represented by StarCol Novikane and StarComm Skry, 7-2 & 10-2. Then the Khan took Banish on his wing and defeated SC GalComm Black Talon & StarCapt Weered, 7-2.
With a little luck, the MNL Honor Points page will be updated soon, and we can get a better picture of where we stand in the point standings (we already know where we stand vis-a-vis the other clans; head and shoulders above!!!)

Monday, Nov.17, 3097 - Sunday Meeting
As has become the norm, about 80% of the Dark Legion's forces attended the Sunday meeting; we remain the envy of all other Clans, with our dedication and commitment.
A richly-deserved promotion was handed out yesterday, as DL-Mr. Smilie made 2nd Mechwarrior of the 1st Star, adding another tenacious and skilled warrior to the fighting ranks. This young man was spoken for from many quarters; those seeking similar endorsements would do well to emulate Smilie!
Others well worth emulating are Nova Colonel Lord Ace & Nova Commander Gunner, who put together a record-breaking 1491.4 honor points in the last 7 days!!! The Loremaster would estimate (HP points page still not updated), with other battles fought last week, that the Dark Legion raked in over 2500 points since 11/8, possibly more than 3000!!! Hail Ace & Gunner; to paraphrase Cuba Gooding Jr. in "Jerry Maguire": "Show us the points!"
Also, plans proceed apace to begin to use our honor points in planet attacks. The martial mood appears to be heading in the direction of attempting a TOTAL wipeout of one unlucky, soon-to-be-ex Clan, although this is, as of yet, not certain. We feel certain our wise Keshik will point our combined weaponry in the direction most likely to succeed, and we shall indeed fire!!!

Tuesday, Nov.18, 3097 - A Dark Legion Innovation
In the tradition of our BattleTech literary forebears, the Dark Legion Star Colonels, with the permission of the Khan, have decided to individualize our respective Stars by naming them.
I sent an email to DL-Kharn and DL-Bloody Hell in this subject, not knowing what the response would be; to my surprise and delight, they'd BOTH been thinking along the same lines! Kharn already has a name and backstory for his Star; the others have yet to be finalized. Rest assured, details of ALL Star company names will appear in this Remembrance, when finalized.
I think we Star Colonels feel that this innovation will foster pride and enthusiasm in Mech2 MNL gameplay, as well as further illuminating and enhancing the bonds between all Dark Legionnaires. Seyla!

Saturday, Nov.22, 3097 - OUT OF THE PAST...
Earlier this week, a deep-cover team of Dark Legion operatives, while excavating a long-forgotten DL supply cache, uncovered some lost codexes and other buried records. Research of these documents has revealed that, in decades past, the various Star companies of the Dark Legion were named, as befit their personalities and proud histories. With the approval of Khan WarKat and the Keshik, the active Star Colonels (as of this writing, 1 StarCol spot remains in doubt) have decided to re-embrace these names for the DL's present-day Stars (for those not up on Clan military structure, like a 5-pointed star, a Clan Star has 5 members; Star Colonel, Star Captain, Star Commander, 1st and 2nd Mechwarriors).
My fellow Dark Legionnaires, I present to you...
Kharn's Star, The Ravenwing, is the DL's 4th Star; a highly specialized formation used for scouting and assault missions where speed and firepower are a necessity. Instead of the usual DL paint scheme, the Ravenwing mechs are jet-black; it is this which gives the star its unique name. Equipped and trained for high-speed missions, The Ravenwing excel at hit-and-run warfare, and search-and-destroy operations. The latter combat missions are of great import to the DL when fighting enemy clans; it is VITAL that none of the enemy escape to fight another day.
So is the way of the Ravenwing and the Dark Legion

Star Colonel Bloody Hell has adopted the name Dark-Blood for his Star company; this is, in part, to honor his "bloody" brethren, Star Commander Bloody Finger (whose services he has requested as part of the Dark-Blood Star), and Nova Captain Bloody Moon, who together once comprised the TGW trio known as the "Bloody Brothers". The Loremaster finds this tribute to one's friends and clanmates entirely fitting and worthy.

Star Colonel Cobalt has adopted the Obsidian Blade as his company's name - "Like the cutting edge of the Black Axe wielded by our dread totem the 'Death Dealer', the Obsidian Blade has, throughout its illustrious history, found itself on front edge of the Dark Legion's battle for supremacy. Whatever trials, adversity & enemies we face, the Obsidian Blade will remain sharp, deadly and true, carving our name into the time-honored lore of Dark Legion history."

Seyla...!

Sunday, Nov.23, 3097 - DARK LEGION NEWS
Several significant events came to light in our clan this week.
Our Nova Colonel Lord Ace was accorded the singular honor of being named back-up Chairman for the MNL Grand Council. We know that his diplomatic and parliamentary skills will equal his prowess in battle, and he'll be a huge asset to the Council. Congratulations, Ace!
Long-time veteran DeathMerchant became the Dark Legion's newest Star Colonel. The melee for the position, unfortunately, was never completed, and the Khan, realizing that 'time is the tyrant', elected to step in and resolve the opening. Hail Merch; we look forward to your battlefield leadership.
The Dark Legion welcomed its latest hopeful, recruit Scuzz Fuddly. I was told this gentelman has good potential, and I saw it for myself; the aggressiveness needed for ultimate success is certainly in evidence. Welcome, Scuzz!

Monday, Nov.24 3097 - Sunday Meeting Results
Regarding the company Star names, the Keshik has decided (to the undiguised glee of the Star Colonels!) that the names will remain permanently, into perpetuity. In the near future, the Nova officers will experience the same when their Binaries (Clan terminology for 2 Stars) acquire names as well. The Loremaster eagerly anticipates the creative results of the higher ranks!
An avalanche of promotions were announced last night; Mechsiren and Bloody Finger were promoted to Star Captains, and Banish and Smilie made Star Commander. The dedication to the DL, skill improvement and incessant activity made these advancements well-deserved, and to our enemies, painfully so...
On a down note, Arcturus Star was removed from recruit status; while the cause for his inactivity is unknown (studies, perhaps), the consequences were unavoidable. The lesson to take from this, of course; let yourself be seen & heard from...
Which clan has the big Dark Legion bull's-eye on their unsuspecting backs? War plans proceed, and the sound we just heard was a major missile-lock on some future bondsmen...!

Thursday, Nov.27, 3097 - A Thanksgiving Feast
On this day, when we traditionally warm ourselves in good company, good food and our good fortune, there are additional thanks to be given... to the honorable WPs, Crimsun, Adain & Bump. These 3 were good enough to engage Shrapnel, Mr.Smilie & Cobalt in the Dark Legion's 1st 3-on-3 hp battle, a class 4 throwdown on the empty streets of Tinaca. It was semi-organized chaos, as the flying missiles, blazing gunfire & laser lightshow, it was tough to tell friend from foe. But tell we did, and scored a 8-4 win; the enthralling scent of victory pervaded the battlehall, and left us giddy, indeed. Both the SaKhan (in person) & the Khan (via another avatar) were there to greet us in the post-battle canteen (always like to look good in front of the bosses!!!)
The points page has been updated as of the 27th; since the 7th we've increased our point total almost 5,000 points, to 18,391 (even this may be a bit low, considering Lord Ace's omnipresence). This puts us in 6th place, though our win percentage is the MNL's best, and we've won more battles than any other clan, winning 102 of 179. According to the page, we've got 6 planet wars we can fight; by the talons of Ares, they WILL be fought, and none may say us nay!!!

Sunday, Nov.30 3097 - UPDATE
Due to the diligent efforts of Cyclonic & Ogremagi, another correction/update has been entered on the MNL honor points page. The Dark Legion was apparently missing 2,000 points, bringing us to a total of 20,375 and moving us into 2nd place, trailing only TC (as things stand, they may not be seeing very many more points!). We have won more battles than any other clan, and have the highest winning percentage. If we stay active, fellow Legionnaires, we should have 1st place all to ourselves by Xmas (and wouldn't that be a nice stocking-stuffer for our Khan and ourselves!)
In other DL news, our MIA brother Xenic checked in after a prolonged absence; seems he's had some phone problems, and is not quite in position to rejoin us just yet. We eagerly await his return. Still MIA is DL-Gunship1, who also hasn't been seen for awhile; any sightings or explanations would be appreciated.
Although details are still forthcoming, Banish defeated Cyberbum in a ToP yesterday, winning Cyber's Star Captain position while Cyber assumes the rank of Star Commander. Presumably, this change will be officially recognized at tonight's meeting

Monday, Dec.1 3097 - THE CLARION CALL TO WAR
Night's Heralds have sounded the revillie, and we of the Dark Legion have answered that brazen trumpet's cry - War against the Death Jester Combine has been declared. E'en now, the Khan's plan has gone into motion, and the battles will soon be set. Sharpen thy swords and loosen thy scabbards, my brethren; soon shall the wrath of the Dark Legion fall unto the foe, like never before!!!
In other developments, one of our own has had to take leave of us for a time. DeathMerchant has been forced to take extended leave; into his newly-won Star Colonel rank steps Mr. Smilie! We grieve to lose Merchant's presence, as his experience would've been key in the upcoming war; however, we look forward to Smilie carrying the additional firepower and skill of his new position.
The Khan has welcomed 2 new recruits into the DL ranks; Overkill2 and Wayne1. We look forward to these gentlemen making a significant contribution to the clan in the near future.
In MNL news, there appears to be some contention regarding the once-and-possibly-future revoked C4 default for hp battles. Lord Ace assures us that the matter should be resolved at the next Grand Council meeting...
