News as of July 4th: YO! Happy 4th of July! Hope you are having fun on this great country's 226th Birthday! this is pat bringing you the Los news, and yes, i have lots of it. We played at a private party on May 26, and it was good fun. Check the pictures section to see more of this. We will be heading down to Greencove Springs, Florida on July 14th, to open and jam with Big Engine, we will have driving directions later. Tommorow, we will be playing a private party, so that should be good fun. In other news, Our vocal lesson teacher (Ramona Jeffries) is recording her own album, and has asked us to back her up on a few of the songs, sounds like fun to me. Speaking of recording, we have just finished recording our demo, it is being mastered now, and, unfortunately, it won't be for sale; but we will have clips on the site soon, so be on the lookout for that. :) Our next project: Our Album, which will be for sale. Oh, man, i almost forgot: we have no certain word yet... but, hopefully we will be playing at the Golf Tournament opening for, well they don't have a headliner yet, but we'll probably for another band there on August 3rd. Lex and Terry (on ROCK 106.1 and the rest of the nation) will be there broadcasting, and we will be advertised on Lex and Terry prior to the event. So listen to Lex and Terry and listen for us! That's the news for now! Be safe this 4th of July! Whatever you do, don't drink and drive! we want you to be able to come and see us again! See ya!

News as of May 25th: Hello LoS fans, this is Pat bringing you the news today. Summer is almost upon us, and a certain someone has gotten lazy with keeping the news up to date. and indeed, we have a mucho oompa large mass of news to bring you. May 3rd and 4th was the long-anticipated Relay for Life all-night-long benefit, featuring live entertainment, such as karaoke and karate demonstrations (and us), and many fun events. There was a good crowd turnout and most important of all, it was for a good cause.
Also, the band Big Engine came to Savannah to play the Oyster Bar 2 weekends ago and stopped by the house to jam. unfortunately, Ryan and Jeff couldn't make it over in time to play with them, but i still got to jam with them. We have been invited to play a gig with them in Florida sometime, so that should be fun. By the way, the Bassist Banner Thomas is the original bassist for Molly Hatchet. :)
In other news, there will be a boxing match on river street on June 4th, and we will be playing for that venue to open for a band named Bounty Hunter, and there will most definitely be Live ESPN coverage. So if you can't make it out to the fight, make sure you watch it on TV :).
There is also a new home page layout, complete with uncluttered buttons and a new logo. This makes the site look much cleaner. Sunday we will be playing at a Private Party on Tybee, our first gig in a few weeks.
This completes the news for now, have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend!

News as of May 18: Hello LoS fans. This is Jeff here bringing you an update in our news. I have just recently had a birthday as well as Ryan. (May 9th was mine, May 11th was Ryan's) I am now officially a teenager. (weeee) I mean that in a sarcastic way. Ryan is now 15, and has his learners license. (uh oh) In other news, we are most definitely going to start some recording this Summer. (if not sooner) If anyone wants to contact us about anything at all, just e-mail us at [email protected]

We also have pictures from our latest installment, the Oglethorpe Speedway, boy was that awesome! So go run by the pictures section and check out the latest pics of us. Thanks!

News as of April 18th: Hello, yet again, LoS fans! this is pat giving the news (as just about always) but we're here to discuss a more serious note. tuesday, April 16th, my step-uncle was sent to Memorial Hosptial for a brain hemorrhage, and right now, after 2 surgeries in 2 days, he is holding up pretty well. I just wanted to let everyone know this so that you can keep my uncle Bill in your prayers tonight, in hopes that he will soon get better. Thanks.

News as of April 16th: Hello LOS Fans! We here at los.com (actually just Pat) are proud to announce that the site has recieved a major face lift, believe it or not. I have changed all of the links to "home" to the actual LandOfSouls.com main page, rather than the entrance page that they were linked to before... this, to be put in Enlgish, means faster navigation. I have also made a big step in making this site easier to navigate: I have completely re-done the Tour Dates section to an actual calendar-style format. This, yet again, makes for easier navigation. Well, i guess this wraps everything up, it's getting late... 'till next update!

News as of March 3: Anyone see the Kid Rock Concert? It was something definitely not to be missed, and we were there. Heh, with the combined coolness of indoor pyrotechnics, Confetti Launchers, REALLY loud music, a HUGE american flag, a stage that looked like a trailer park, and a show like no other, I can safely say that that was probably the Coolest concert... ever. Anyways, things have been pretty normal around here, our voice lessons are going very well, and everything is just about peachy. I have to call this to a close now, gotta eat.

News as of February 18: Not one update in almost two months, wow. Over the past month or so, lots of things have changed around here. We have auditioned two singers to possibly front the band, but, eh... nevermind. They didn't quite work out. We are now taking voice lessons, and it is working very well. (Thanks Ramona) It turns out that every one can sing and has a different range from the other, so it works out pretty well. Excpect to hear some vocals at our next gig, as we have been working very hard for the past few weeks. We are pleased to announce that Pat has succesfully recovered from the flu, being sick for nearly a week straight. By the way, do you guys like the 1950's theme? If anyone has any different ideas for a theme, drop us a line at [email protected]. We would be glad to hear from you. We would also like to remind everyone that we are open to play for private parties anytime, just check our tour dates section for availibility, and email us and we will be glad to arrange something. As we bring this to a close we would just like to say, uhh... bye.

We will be going on a road trip today, as a matter of fact we're about to leave now :) but anyways, tonight will be special for the band because we are going to Macon, GA, to see the Chris Hicks Band and Noah (the drummer of 38. Special) play at Anita's Bar & Grill, so hopefully we can open for them or even jam with them on stage. :) (I heard that Noah has a huge Pearl drumset... that should be exciting for me :) see ya' 'round!

News as of December 21st: Hello Land of Souls fans! this saturday is going to be a big step in our band's development. That being... ROAD TRIP! Yes, that's right, we will be traveling to Macon, GA to see The Chris Hicks Band Perform live at Anita's Bar & Grill. Who knows... we might even open for them... :) more on this later.
News as of December 14th: Hello Land of Souls fans! Wow, i've gotten really lazy with keeping track of this site. There's so much stuff that needs to be done with the site, and, as with any procrastinator, it gets put to side. But at least the band has been working on something constructive. So far, since our last gig at the Lightship, we have made about 3 original songs (album material :)), and worked out a few covers. Our current gameplan at the moment is to not have too many gigs, being it almost winter anyway, and focus on tightening up the songs we've already got. But... there have been talks of the Tybee Pier next weekend, we'll keep you posted on that. We have a few private parties schedueled, so we can look forward to that. Anyways, i guess that's it. Hope to see you all soon. OH YEAH! I ALMOST FORGOT! My original peavey Drumset is for sale. head over to the <This link's target cannot be found> section to find out more.
News as of November 15, 2001: Hello Land of Souls Fans! Okay, we have a gig at the Lightship Next weekend, Friday night and Saturday Afternoon, So be there, or, i guess you can be square if you want. :)
News as of November 3, 2001: Hello Land of Souls Fans! I haven't been too active with updating the site lately, so please forgive me. On Halloween night, we played at the First Baptist Church of the Islands, And we would like to thank the church for letting us play there. For some reason, the e-mail address at this website, now being "[email protected]" doesn't want me to log in. I'm trying the best I can to straighten things out with that, and the same with my EzBoard account. I hope i can get that fixed so i can get a really cool forum going. In other news... Ryan is getting a new Bass amp, a Big one at that. It's a Peavey 15" amp combo with a 2 10" extension cabinet and a tweeter. We think it's somehwere around 250 Watts, so it'll be pretty powerful! ;) ::sniff:: Jeff is sad, he's gonna be overpowered by Ryan for once, that is until he gets his 4 12"s. :) I think one night i'm just gonna sit down and do something really cool to this site. So watch out for new changes going down around here, as there will probably be many. That's all for now, Peace!

News as of October 11, 2001: Hello Land of Souls Fans! This weekend, we will be playing at the Tybee Pier, *yay!* from around 1:30P.M. to around 3:30P.M. And also, we have a new E-mail address, which is [email protected], but our hotmail adress is still active, so either one you mail us at, we'll get it. And... We're goin' Old School... The Place where our first public performance was done... the one... the only... Spatz Comedy Club is inviting us back to open for Broken Time (which is who we lost the talent competition to at the very same place) how ironic... it should be fun though. I'm pretty sure it's the weekend after next... but i'll post back here just to let you know for sure. And also, i'm working on creating an EzBoard, which is my own Message Board. And once that's up, i'm probably gonna need Moderators... so if you know how to do the job, lemme know and i'll hook ya' up. Watch out for new additions to the site also. Peace.
