Why a Reservist for a character? Well its a quick way to get some combat skills without going into the military and staring money for each term on active duty. Plus in a GM's point of view you can call the player into active duty for state aid.. But on the plus side, the player gets both the skills from the Reservist class and the career they are in at the time.. ie Mechanic career plus Reserve or National Guard, like a two for one :)

Special: On a roll of 7+ on a D10, the character must spend a full term
in the service with full skill points as active duty. When calculating
staring money, each term on active duty counts as double.. When their is
a flood, riot, major prob. in the state the character lives in, on a roll
of 8+ on a D10, the player gets called up for duty.. Intel the prob. is
over.
