The
Match
~~~~~~~~~
This
was a one level 20 minute match.
LOBs
did very well considering TOF
had their proper league team out, and we can salvage loads of pride from
this moral victory.
After
getting lost trying to find their QW
server (which
was version 2.1 whereas we all had 2.21 which did not work with it - cheers
for telling us TOF)
we eventually played a game on their normal quake
server on DM3.
We'd lost Coool
and Ferrit
on the way (sorry lads)
but battle comnmenced.
We
played really well, though never really securing the RL
area properly against some sharp TOF
play. Credit to all who played for persevering (especially
Tri with that
ping).
Level
was lost 45-61
but this should have been a massacre,
so well played LOBs.
Well
thats it for me as war organiser.
Whoever takes over this (very enjoyable)
role, must just continue to get as many matches as possible so that our
teamplay can improve. Get tough opposition
and we will learn faster. The defeats can
be repaid with interest later...
