Holodeck; Part 8
Katherine, Blip, Susan, Jenna and Karrfiled into the Hotel room.
They had been in Disney for three days doing presentations with Jack. And it was tiring. "I don't think I've ever been more exhausted in my life!" gasped Susan. Shewas referring to the week in general.
"I think someone was out to make it a bad experience. But I'm too tired to
think about it." Katherine flopped down on one of the beds.
Blip flew up to her. "Not so fast. Plug me in! I need electricity, or my
battery is dead." He insisted. Katherine rolled off the bed and fiddled with
Blip's adapter.
Jenna crouched on the ground, blinking frequently. Then she finally shouted
"Sleep", and fell over, sawing logs. Karr, who had learned to walk lately,
tottled over to tickle her, but he just couldn't resist. He fell over, and
snored away with Jenna.
"Norns are such narcoleptics." Katherine observed, peeking over the bed.
"Of course," remarked Susan, "They NEVER fell asleep in the parks."
"It was to hot!" Blip answered, from his bedside post. "Well, I don't know
about Humans, but you don't have a metal outer covering. I nearly burnt every
circuit in my CPU."
"It's just as hot, buddy boy." Katherine said.
"Anyway," started Susan, "You really think that someone provoked all those
instances?"
"Think real hard." Katherine replied. "Do you think that it was
coincidence that someone kept shouting 'push animal' on that Animal Kingdom
Safari? OR when Jenna nearly fell out of 'Journey into imagination' at Epcot?
Or, at Typhoon Lagoon, when Karr was kidnapped and we found him 15 feet into
the wave pool?"
"AND we didn't get him out in time for that giant 10 foot wave that washed
us all up on shore." Susan said, remembering how the huge wave knocked everyone
over with a force that only God himself could master well. Of course, Disney
probably asked God to make those waves for them. Disney can do that, you know.
"I think someone is out to get us... or CyberLife." Katherine thought
aloud. But she didn't have much time alone with her thoughts. Jack appeared in
the doorframe.
"We have another appearance today, at Magic Kingdom. We'll be staying for
the fireworks!" Jeff sounded half excited. Everyone groaned.
Katherine shook Jenna and Karr awake. Karr groggily awakened, while Jenna
raised up and shouted "OUCH!"
Katherine shrunk back. "Oops, forgot about your sunburn." Katherine gave
Jenna a good tickling to make up for it, and then they all walked out the door.

The five had just finished their last presentation of the day in Magic
Kingdom. Jack had said that as long as they meet back by the train station
after the last firework fades, They had the freedom of going anywhere in the
park. The presentation had been staged in Mickey's Toon Town, so they were
smack dab in the middle of Licensed Character World.
All of a sudden, Jenna got a scared look on her face. "run hand" she
shouted. Katherine scooped her up.
"What the-..." she started. "Wait a minute. Jenna has no reason to be
afraid of either one of us. Right?"
"Right." Susan replied.
"So... Let's find out what hand she IS afraid of. Maybe..." Katherine
revealed,
"She’ll lead us to whoever's been causing us grief?" Blip answered.
"Yuhp." Katherine sat Jenna on the ground. "push hand" she demanded.
Jenna looked at Katherine. Was she totally nuts? This hand had been trying
to do her in all week. But she figured she'd better do it anyway, or else she
might get smacked. She walked over behind Minnie's house where she saw the
hand. Katherine & crew followed closely, until they found the 'hand'.
Katherine held Jenna close, and they listened.
A guy in a Donald Duck suit was standing with the Donald head in his arms.
"Yo, Jasper! Jasper, where are you?"
A guy in a Goofy suit came out, and took his head off. "Right here.
Everything set for tonight?"
"Yuhp." Said the Donald Duck suit guy.
"Let's review." Jasper stated. "The plan is that we wait for Tinkerbell to
jump off Cinderella’s Castle tonight. Then we set off these two fireworks. When
they go up, they swirl in a blue DNA strand- CyberLife's logo. The fireworks
hit Tink, and CyberLife is blamed. Then, the Wolfpack will rule again! And at
the same time, our trump card is tied to the fireworks!" Jasper dug in his vest
pocked and produced something most people would kill to have- Blueberry,
CyberLife's kidnapped norn. "I've been taking care of those pesky kids, their
idiot robot, and those 'nerds' all week. They'l be too exhausted to stop us!"
They both laughed an evil laugh, then put their costume heads back on and
started being whimsical.
"Idiot Robot?" Blip snarled. "I say we kill them."
"You dimbulb," Katherine fussed, "We just saw the Wolfpack! And we found
Blueberry! You know what we have to do now, don't you?"
"Stop them?" Susan sighed.
"Stop them." Stated Katherine.
