Classes
- Class 1 (c1): Energy weapons only. This consists of all lasers and PPCs. No missiles, machine guns, auto cannons or gauss rifles allowed.
- Class 2 (c2): Stock 'Mechs. Any primary or alternate configuration that came with your MechWarrior 2 CD.
- Class 3 (c3): Any Class 2 'Mechs with minor alterations. These alterations may include adding/removing armor, adding/removing heat sinks, adding/removing jump
- jets. You may remove any weapon you wish, however, you cannot add a weapon that did not come on this 'Mech. An example would be if the 'Mech came with a medium laser and you removed it, you cannot add a PPC on the 'Mech in its place. You can however, add as many medium lasers as you wish.
- Class 4 (c4): Any Class 1 weapons, 2 locking missile racks (2 tons of ammo for each), 2
auto cannons (2 tons of ammo for each), any number of machine guns.
- You may add
engines, armour and jump jets.
- Class 5 (c5): Same as class 4 with the exception of 4 locking missile racks with 3 tons of
ammo for each one.
- Class 6 (c6): Unlimited in design. Whatever you built the 'Mech with is its only restrictions. There are no weapons with ammo limit in this Class.
- Class 7 (c7): Same as class 6 but no locking missile racks allowed (no LRM's or SSRM's).
