Rules


Common Sense Rules:

0 a: If you observe any of the fallowing rules being bent or broken, notify TS-Solaris immediately so that
the necessary course of action may be deployed promptly.
1 a: Never provoke TS-Solaris or any other senior officers as it could potentially lead to your computer being
put out of commission indefinitely.
1 b: Always consider the situation before acting and use common sense.

Clan Rules:

10 a: Never give [allow to own/posses in any way, shape or form] any MechWarrior 2 cheat engines/'Mechs [a 200-1000 byte program(s) which must be
called/named/titled as ".mek" to be registered by Activision's MechWarrior 2/ Net 'Mech gaming environment]

to anyone but TS-Solaris. 10 b: Be courteous and show respect to everyone in the clan; addressing them by their proper rank and callsign
(MPlayer callsign). 10 c: Obey your superior officer in all legitimate commands. 10 d: If at any time you question the orders of your superior, you may ignore them, but in doing so, you will be
directed to answer to the General as to why you ignored the order.

Combat Rules:

20 a: Never fight anyone with a cheat 'Mech (any ".mek" file tampered with by an exterior source/something besides
MechWarrior 2)
outside the clan hall unless they [the room moderator] agree you may use it. 20 b: Never leave a fight without a legitimate reason which all of the party members (people playing with you both
friend and foe)
accepts and testifies that it is in good standing for departure. 20 c: In engagements when as little as one [or more] person(s) is non-TS, only use the 'Mechs provided to you by the
General.
20 d: If you chose to make your own 'Mech configurations to engege them into combat outside a TechStrike room, the
armour rating must be at or under 255 UA/a.
20 e: You are allowed to use regular 'Mechs in any engagement. Here is a list of Armour Ratings and a list of
Class Ratings.
20 f: Heed and acknowledge all commands given during combat especially those such as "hold" and "go".
ToE Rules:
21 a: The joiner must bring down the ToE host to a certain level to which the host desires. 21 b: The trial is fought at the settings the host deems appropriate. 21 c: Besides the host and the ToE challenger(s), more people may drop, however, they must not interfeer with the
engagement. If they do so, their rank/membership is at stake.
21 d: The death of the host [in case of the host being someone unother than the General(5)] can result in the
exchange of ranks. If the hosts' ranks' availability positions are full, the host will drop a rank.
The joiner's rank becomes that of the hosts'.
e.g. If the joiner faces a rank 4 in a ToE and the joiner kills[causes to eject] without dying, the
joiner becomes a rank 4 unless denied. If there are no more rank 4 positions available, the host becomes a rank 3.
21 e: The 'Mech that the joiner must combat in is one of his/her own design. The exact specifications must be
announced to the host before the trial begins. They can be denied.
21 f: In a trial, the objective is not to complete the true mission objective, but it is to complete the objective
set by the host. Unless specified to do so.
ToP Rules:
22 a: Both warriors must agree upon an appropriate time and place for a meeting which must be acknowledged by the
Trial Administrator.
22 b: The General must be present to observe the engagement. 22 c: Besides the General, offensive party and defensive party, all three people must agree for anyone else to drop
in with and watch.
22 d: The settings are to be chosen by the General present or agreed upon by both party members [attacker and defender]. 22 e: Both party members [attacker and defender] must use the exact same 'Mechs. These 'Mechs are to be chosen
by the General present or agreed upon by both party members
[attacker and defender]. 22 f: The kills required to succeed the mission are to be chosen by the General present or agreed upon by both party
members
[attacker and defender].

Room Rules:

30 a: Do not use the microphone in any room when TS-Solaris, TS-WildCat and/or TS-SADIST is/are in the room. 30 b: Always give the position of moderator to the highest ranking member of Tech Strike in the room unless
instructed otherwise.
30 c: If there are two members of the same rank, give the position to the member presiding. 30 d: Never take position of moderator in any room but your own unless 50%+1 of the populatiion in the room or
rightful owner of the room agree(s) upon it.
