Beautiful Love Jennifer Hewitt was born on February 21, 1979 in Waco, Texas, to parents Pat and Tom Hewitt.  She has a brother, Todd, who is eight years older.
Love started performing young. When she was only three years old, she got away from her mother at a dinner club, and was found on stage, singing "Help Me Make It Through The Night." Two years later, Love started taking dance lessons.
While still in Texas, Love was voted a "living doll" in a Texas beauty pageant, and at the age of nine, joined the Texas Show Team, performing in the U.S.S.R. and Denmark.
At ten, Love was touring the world as a spokesperson for L.A. Gear. Shortly after, the Hewitts moved to Los Angeles, and Love got her start in commercials, including more than twenty national commercials for Mattel Toys.
Soon after, Love landed her first starring role in a television series, "Kids Incorporated," where she played "Robin" from 1989-1991. Love performed (with Kids Inc.) on the 1992 UCP Telethon.  She left Kids Inc. for a co-starring role on the TV show "Shaky Ground" (also starring Matt Frewer and Robin Riker). The show barely lasted a season, but Love followed that up by singing "Please Save Us A World" (a song she sang with her co-stars on Kids Inc.) before the United Nations Assembly. Her song became the theme song for the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janerio,
and Love was appointed a Youth Ambassador. She starred in the "Please Save Us A World" video along with many other young celebrities.
After that, Love was in two videos, the movie "Munchies" (starring Loni Anderson) and the "Dance!  Work Out With Barbie" workout video. too bad there wasn't a "Barbie" soundtrack, because Love sang all of the songs used in the video!  Love also was in two unsold pilots "Running Wilde" and "Just Family" that were never made into series, and the TV special "The Magic 7."
Next, Love co-starred in the made-for-TV-movie "Little Miss Millions" (also known as "Home For Christmas"). Love played the title role ("Heather Lofton") in this USA Network comedy about a heiress who runs away from  her obnoxious stepmother in order to find her real mom and be with her at Christmas. Howard Hessman is the detective who gets into trouble trying to get her back.  Love continued her movie career with a featured role in "Sister Act 2:  Back in the Habit." As Love said, "the story in Sister Act 2 is centered around a bunch of inner-city kids who need to be
taught teamwork and that it's okay to love." Her character, "Margaret,"
"is the kind of girl who is afraid people won't like her if she's not
pretty.  She cops a very bad attitude and is never seen without her
compact of makeup -- that is until Sister Mary Clarence wakes her up and shows her what love is all about."
"Party of Five" fans know that Love can act, but she can also sing! "When I first heard Love sing, I was blown away," said Reg Powell, the musical director for "Kids Incorporated." Between acting jobs, Love recorded and released her debut album "Love Songs" (under the name Love Hewitt) on Medlac Records in 1992.  However, that was only released in Japan. Her single from "Love Songs" was "Dancing Queen." She also released singles from the album in other parts of Europe.
As if she wasn't busy enough, Love then got the role of "Franny Byrd" on the critically-acclaimed television series "Byrds of Paradise." At the same time, Love signed a contract to record her American debut album on Atlantic Records. Initially scheduled for release in March 1994 (and then for January 1995), her album was released just recently. Her album, entitled "LETS Go Bang," features one song ("Free To Be A Woman") that Love co-wrote.
As if all of that isn't enough, Love took over the role of "Cassidy
McKenna" on "McKenna."  Unfortunately, the show only lasted for a few episodes.
But all this cancellation can't keep a good girl down!  Which brings us to her current role as "Sarah" on "Party of Five."  Hopefully this sensational sixteen-year-old has found a show that will last a long time. She has a new movie coming out in 1996, "House Arrest," starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Jennifer Tilly.

None of the above info is done by me. I just got it from "The Jennifer Love Hewitt Online Resource". So thanks to them. If not you wouldn't have read it.
