Battle Plan and Wars Not Make One Great will greatly slow down your opponent's Force drains. It should give you enough time to learn useful things before the opponent deplete your deck. Other ways to slow him down are undercover spies like TK-422 and Boushh, effects like Projection Of A Skywalker, and devices like Landing Claw.

Deploy your mentor, apprentice, Dagobah sites and train, train, train. Then when you are finished with the theory : GO BOOOOM! Deploy your killer machines at the turn you will end your apprentice's formation and be ready for destruction.

First turn. I recommend to start the training at the Training Area. Get out Yoda and Yoda's Hope, Luke's Backpack and the 1st Jedi test. On your opponent's turn, take the 2nd Jedi test ... and so on.

Second turn. Deploy Dagobah Jungle (far away from the planet Dagobah) and your apprentice (Luke or Daughter Of Skywalker).

Third turn. The 1st Jedi test is successful. Look for the swamp and put it near the planet Dagobah. Deploy the second Jedi test on the Jungle and go on that location. If the opponent moves that test, then it will not be necessary to move. :)

Fourth turn. The 2nd Jedi test is successfull. If you want to look for a location, take out the Bog Clearing next to the Jungle (the farthest from the Dagobah system). Deploy Jedi test 3, it is completed, thanks to The Way Of Things. Deploy Jedi test 4 : you can't attempt it yet because only one Jedi test may be accomplished each turn. Move to Bog Clearing.

Fifth turn. During your control phase, your fourth Jedi test will be successful. Now you can use 2 Force to take from the Reserve deck a card you will need. Look for the Traffic Control if you don't have it yet on the table. Prepare your future combos because you will soon strike the opponent. You may deploy Yoda's Hut next to the Bog Clearing. Deploy Jedi test 5 on the Hut and move there.

Sixth turn. Turn your apprentice upside down. Place a destiny 7 in your used pile with Traffic Control.

Seventh turn. At end of this turn the fifth Jedi test will be completed. Be happy and retrieve some Force. Use Off The Edge for more Force retrieval.

Eight turn. Confront Vader and show him the power of the Light Side. You can also deploy like crazy and strike hard at your opponent. You can win the game, it's up to you to take the right decisions.

As you can see, during all the Jedi training your apprentice is near the Dagobah Cave (if opponent deployed it). That location is interior, so your opponent must deploy it the farthest as possible as the Dagobah system. One step and you can attempt to cancel that nasty Failure at the Cave.

Remember that during your training you must deploy cards to block or slow down opponent's Force drains. Trying to get Electrobinoculars and Traffic Control early will be helpful.

If your opponent begins with Bring Him Before Me, it would be wise to train Daughter of Skywalker and let Luke surrender to Vader. If Vader is alone with Luke, be an ungrateful son and Strangle him! >:)

Against decks like Bring Him Before Me, Hunt Down And Destroy The Jedi and Court Of The Vile Gangster, you should swap Battle Plan for Your Insight Serves You Well. Lose it early to get Honor Of The Jedi and you will lose less Force to those objectives.
