Red XIII is a large, red, intellegent ummm dog from a race that has incrediable longevity. Unfortunetly, Red XIII is the last of his race. He lives in shame because it is thought that his father died while running from the enemy that wiped out Red XIII's entire race. Red XIII (who's real name is Nanaki) was rescued with Aeris by Cloud and company from the Shin-Ra building in Midgar. Red XIII is a decent magic user and fighter but there are better choices for both. His limit breaks are mostly about adding status effects to the team.
