Chapter II
We rejoin the party
outside of Orm, where Grub the half-giant thanks the party for their escort
and goes his own way. Gannon and Darrit go to the local magic shop to gather
information about Displacer Beasts and the rest of the party went to the
inn.
At the magic shop,
Gannon and the owner of the shop, searched many ancient texts and continued
their study for many, many hours. As they studied Darrit guarded the door.
Finally Gannon discovered that at the Tomb of Seth, there
were Displacer beasts cursed to guard the remains Seth for all of
eternity.
Gannon and Darrit with
there new found information returned to the inn, where the heroes were
waiting. After feasting Gannon told the party what he had found out and
told them that they were within two days of his cure and said that they
would be living first thing in the morning.
After the party left
Orm they traveled for the first day whiteout incident on the second day
though late in the afternoon from the road ahead came a rider being chased
by four other riders. Sir Rich being the upstanding man that he is sensed
evil and began to charge at the men chasing the lone rider and Davros seeing
Sir Rich cast a spell of Wall of Ice and dropped it directly on top of
one of the riders. Sir Rich quickly dispatched two of the others and gave
chase to the fourth. During this the rest of the party had continued forward
not wanting to get involved being as closed to there goal as they were
so they continued on.
After a while Sir Rich
rejoined the party and told them that he had found a path that cut of the
main road and that he was certain this was the path to the Tomb of Seth.
At the news of this the party pushed on till after dark.
When the party found
the tomb they decided to camp and wait till morning to begin the exploration
of the tomb.
As the sun reached
into the early morning sky's the party ventured into the Tomb of Seth.
The tomb had set untouched for a long time.
