Today as usual Brock was helping out his family by cleaning there clothes and feeding them. Suddenly he decided to go to the gym and decided to practice. 5 minutes later a stranger walked in and asked can I challenge you to a gym battle. Brock said yes.
The stranger said his name was Gary. He also said that his enemy Ash was coming to Pewter to win a gym badge. Gary " i need to get a badge before him to prove i'm better".
Meanwhile in on his way ash found a Mew and captured it with his ultraball.
Back to the gym battle. The battle was underway now. Gary chose his raticate and brock chose his onix. Gary attacked with a hyper fang. Onix looked injured. Onix returned with bind knocking out raticate and forcing Gary to put in eevee. Eevee was week because it never trained. Since eevee was week agility and tackle was its best option. This knocked out onix. Geodude was her next opponent geodude missed his attack and eevee struck with rage and knocked out geodude.
"I won I won" Gary said. But wait im not finished brock said. I still have my vulpix. your eevee can never win. ill try again, i guess, gary said. vulpix attacked with flamethrower and it knocked out eevee.
"Now i win" you dont get my badge loser. After the battle brock returned home and found his good for nothing father helping out the family after abandoning them for 3 years. Take care of the family while im out of town.
Brock was now on his way to be the worlds greatest pokemon breeder.
