Cloud's Coma
When you visit Cloud in the clinic, you find out that there's no change in his condition and Tifa seems to have giving up hope. Around this time, the town begins to shake. Run outside and you'll find one of the WEAPONs attacking the town.
Boss Fight: Ultimate Weapon
You just need to survive this fight. Ultimate WEAPON will attack with several powerful spells that can cause about 1,500 points of damage to each character simultaneously.
Cast MBarrier immediately to soften the blow, and keep everyone heaed. Use each team member's Limit Breaks, because they'll be built up after one or town turns. These should cause enough damage to make Ultimate WEAPON fly off.
Ultimate WEAPON may be gone, but the threat is far from over. The Lifestream bursts through and destroys Mideel. Thifa tries to get Cloud out, but they both drop into the middle of the Lifestream.
Tifa awakens to find herself in a seemingly empty void. Voices from the dark question her actions and challenge her to confess; she's quickly overcome with emotion and sinks into the darkness.
When she awakens she's in a surreal world with not one, but three, Clouds. His conscious hangs overhead as if watching and waiting for answers. Which Cloud should you talk to first? Start with the one at the top.
This is Nibelheim just as it was five years ago. Again we see Sephiroth's entrance and, again, Cloud follows him - but this time Tifa intervenes. Cloud wasn't the one with Sephiroth - it was the boy that Sephiroth showed Cloud back at the Crater.
Next, speak to the Clond on the left. Nibelheim appears again, but this time it's a reenacment of the night at the well. Nothing has changed as Cloud and Tifa remember it, but it's still not enough to prove who Cloud is.
Tifa asks Cloud to think of the memory about her, one she wouldn't know. Cloud complies by admitting that he wanted to join SOLDIER to draw Tifa's attention.
He takes her to the point in time where Tifa's mother died, a time when Tifa was so wrapped up in ther emotions that she failed to notice Cloud. There was an accident and Cloud was blamed for hurting Tifa.
After that incident, CLoud begin to look for a way to make Tifa. notive him and strength seemed like the answer. He would become like Sephiroth. Tifa remembers this, enabling Cloud to come one step closer to being whole again.
They return to Nibelheim and go to the Mako Reactor some five years ago. Sephiroth wounds Tifa and then Zack (this must be the Zack from Gongaga Village) enters the scene. Sephiroth defeats Zack, but Cloud grabs his sword and sneaks up on Sephiroth as he's reaching for Jenova.
Cloud wasw in soldier grab the entire time, hiding behind a mast. He bested Sephiroth and saved Tifa and Zacks's lives.
With teh truth now uncovered, Cloud is whole again. His consciousness pulls together and they leave the Lifestream.
The team is reunited but there are two more Huge Materia to collect. Take the Highwind to Junon, because the team must locate the underwater facility before Shinra can move the Materia.
Note:
With the Highwind in your possesion, you can breed Chocobo at the Chocobo Farm you visited earlier in the game. Chocobo breeding is time consuming and expensive, but it enables you to acquire some of the most powerful Materia and items in the game. Click here for more information.
