Yup, Sweet Indeed. The phone is supposed to have something to do with online stuff. Personally I couldn't give a crap. We'll have to wait and see if anything cool comes of it though.

In this pic there is a 4 inch lcd screen attached to the back of this Playstation. Most game magazines seem to think the main idea for the screen would be to take it on the go. I don't tink so. My belief is that it is only to free up the family tv. Its especially not practical to take on the go because you have to play with the controller with the long cord in addition the battery power required for the system itself and the screen.

 

The PS One as it is now being called, should be released in Japan July 7th 2000, and in North America and Europe this fall (I read September somewhere but that is just speculation). More speculation is that the little 4 inch screen won't be available until March 2001. By measuring the width of a memory card I can make an educated guess as to the width of the width of the system. A memory card is 4.2cm wide (42mm) so I multiplied that by 4.5 and came up with 18.9cm (189mm) (approx) which is a great deal smaller than the current model.
