  
 In the school, do the letters around the wall translate literally into ABC etc?  Yes, and no. The letters around the school room are the D'ni "alphabet", but they don't directly correspond to a,b,c,etc. For example the D'ni "alphabet" starts v,t,s. There's also a letter that was incorrectly put up twice.
