RAWA posted some new information about more books from Cyan!
Hello, Lysters,

I just thought I'd take a few minutes to tell you that I won't be onactive on the lyst for the rest of the week. So if you write somethingthat asks for my response, you'll have to wait 'til I get caught up sometime next week.

The good news - the reason: As Tom Sutton mentioned on 11/7/98:

>1) As [Rand] signed my Book of Ti'ana (yesssssss), he commented that theyare
>definitely pursuing more books. He didn't mention their content, but he
>seemed genuinely excited about them.

Yes, we're currently in the initial stages of two novels. And that's what I'll be working on the rest of this week (finishing up outlines, backstory, etc. to make presentable).

They aren't "done deals" yet, but it looks like they'll happen. That's all I can say for now, I'll give more details about the novels when they are more of a sure thing.

I Like The Sound Of This To!

In recent post made on the Riven Lyst, Graeme Rochester said the followingabout the Myst sound-track re-release:

Erm.....

I have no wish to contradict the omniscient RAWA.....

But I'm going to.....

I saw it in a shop today.....

And I bought it.....

Yes. It is the re-release.....

I'm playing it as I type.....

I'm looking at the box.....

There is an awful lot of stuff going on in the music that you simply do nothear in the game.....

It sounds very different, but similar.....

Actually, it is more beautiful than ever.....

If there is anybody out there that needs any proof that I am not lying, hereis the first sentence from the booklet:
"Without a doubt, the D'ni civilization was one of the greatest, mostadvanced ever to have thrived on this small planet - some would argue it wasthe greatest."

I Like The Sound Of This!

In recent post made on the Riven Lyst, Richard Watson said the followingabout the Myst sound-track re-release:

>Does anyone know anything about the Myst sound-track re-release? Virgin
>Records states on their Riven page (www.virginrecords.com/riven) that it
>will follow the Riven track release with a re-mastered Myst track early
>this spring, but that's the last thing I've heard.

I think they're waiting until September, when they can take advantage of hype for Myst's fifth anniversary.
