Votes are going down! -June 26, 1998

I have not recieved NEAR as many votes as episode 1 brought in. This is one reason that TIS II might just replace TIS. One idea is to make the last TIS the first page in TIS II!

Uh-Oh! TIS II Opening Date Postponed. -June 22, 1998

There have been some problems getting TIS II completed, and we will have to postpone the Grand Opening of TIS II. The Grand Opening date will be announced on the 28th of June, which was the day it was supposed to open.

Moving a City? -June 21, 1998

*** WE'RE MOVING - PLEASE READ *** - 20 June 1998 On Tuesday 23rd June we will be relocating our servers to new premises in Chantilly, Virginia. This will mean we have much better links to the net and therefore the speed of our site will improve hugely. Once the move is complete we will be starting a major round of hardware upgrades which will again increase the speed of our services even further. This will however mean we are offline for most of Tuesday. Here is the schedule (all times are Eastern Daylight Time): 0800 Tues 23 June: All servers shut down 2000 Tues 23 June: Hardware arrives in Chantilly 0000 Wed 24 June: All servers back online We will be maintaining a temporary server while we are offline which will mean visitors to your site will receive a message stating that we're moving and telling them when the site will back online.

So, if your in the way of the flying city, watch out, FC is pretty big!

Just Finished! -June 21, 1998

I have counted the votes and found that number one is the winner. I have wrote the next episode, and it is ready to go. The time right now, as I write these words, the time is 6:20 PM CDT.

My Apologies! -June 21, 1998

Well, as you all know, TIS was SUPPOSED to be uploaded last night at midnight and votes to be taken up at 7:00 PM (CDT). Well, listen to my excuses. We had some out of town business to do in Grandbury, Texas. I got home at about 10:30 PM and crashed. Today, after church, we had some Father's Day celebrations going on, so just now I am finally able to upload TIS. I am counting the votes, and writing the next episode, so I'll post another news message whenever TIS, The Second Episode of Season Two is posted. Thank you.

New News for News! -June 17, 1998

Well, you may notice something different here at the news page, if you don't, then your probably not a news reader person. I've changed the fonts and background. This is one of the new things that will carry into the new TIS, or TIS II. You may also notice a signifigant resemblence to this and the news that is always posted at the Grand Central Station @ Fortune City. By the way, it's really 12:45 A.M. but technically, that is the 17th, isn't it!

TIS II is coming so much earlier than twas once thought. TIS II IS COMING JUNE 28th, Ninteen Hundred and Ninty-Eight. Surprised? HA HA! I surprised You. Well, my TIS 'new' co-president and TIS II founder, Matt Evans has been working on getting this thing up quicker. Welcome to the FUTURE HOME of FORTUNE CITY'S DEVINE INTERACTIVE STORY OF THE FUTURE.

But you can call it TIS II.

I have recived some votes already, I would like more. Be EXTRA careful when sending your vote, because I've gotten two submissions where there was nothing entered. I've sent my vote and I need to count them and get them uploaded by Saturday at 7 P.M. Central Time Zone.

TIS II Confirmed!-June 14, 1998

It HAS been confirmed. TIS II is in the making, as Matt Evans joins the TIS team, he will be presenting the actual core of TIS II and the real important stuff. I have just finished making an image map for TIS II and a chat room will be added shortly. TIS II promises to be the number one entertainment site at Fortune City. What's all this? TIS has just been made, and we're already talking about a new one? Well, this one is different, it will probably take some time. But it IS comfirmed, there WILL be a TIS II - a choose ur own ending that is designed to let the reader write the next continue when the story runs dry. For examples of this kind of story, go to Gav and Peloso's Interactive Story. They have a set up which will be much like TIS II.

It's coming at 12:00 Midnight! The best TIS yet. This is the first one since TIS's New webpage, and everything, so this can also be considered the 'Best' one. Also, I am really excited about TISII, which is still in the brainstorming stage.

TIS II??? -June 11, 1998

Well...my friend Matt Evans is helping me out on creating a new and different TIS. This will be a way different, while both will stay online. Here is the set up. Have you ever read one of those 'choose your own ending book'? Well, that is the basic design of this TIS. What happens when you come to an end is different from a book. You will be alowed to write the next page of the book if you run into a dead in. You will also be able to put two continuations at the end. If you want to write the continuations, it's up to you! I am excited about doing this and also excited about going in together with Matt- making this a 'group' effort. Any further information about TIS II will come later, but remember that these things take time. Thanks!
