Brief Virtuaroid Review
All beginners are better off to learn Temjin first. His high damage potential and ease of use is a major plus point. His forward dashing beam rifle and gliding ram can easily turn the tide of the game. However, when a player should become an advance player, move to a more specialised virtuaroid.
The only virtuaroid that has to jump constantly to win. Being controlled very differently from other virtuaroids, Cypher is hard to learn. His bad armor only increases the need to harvest his air-superiority in order to avoid enemy attacks. His low damage attacks is also a setback, but his air-superiority and low freeze time made him a very difficult opponent, an expert Cypher is the ultimate nightmare.
Specialising in close combat, his tongfer can send even Dordray flying off to the ground with a tongfer hit. Even though he is armed with much better weaponary than in VO:OMG, his weapons in long and mid range are nowhere as good as his good old tongfers. An Aphamrd B player's main aim is to land a close combat hit, or die trying in order to win most battles.
Although he looks very much like his brother, his armor is not as good but he is nimble. He attacks are based on counter strikes at long distance and hit-n-fade CC attacks.
Feiyen has the fastest speed overall in the game, so she can easily walk through attacks while firing her fast charging and hi-speed weapons. When she turned hyper, her speed and fire-power almost doubled, accelerating the death of her opponents. For those players who like to use a faster Temjin, Fei-yen is the choice.
Perhapes the virtuaroid with the most powerful direct weapons, his twin lasers are extremely deadly. Now, his lasers are cancellable and selectable, though tuned down in damage, it is made up in sheer numbers. His low speed and lack of fast tracking projectiles are his main weaknesses.
Pack with a heavy armor plating and high V-armor, Dordray can takes lots of punishment before falling down. With several high damaging moves, Dordray can tear most virtuaroids to pieces in no time. However, his moves generally have long freeze time and his overall speed is slow.
With the ability of putting tons of missles into the air within a frightening short time, Gys-vok can easily overwhelm the opponent with a storm of missles forcing the opponent to run. Even though he is not very stable, he is still well armored and the plus point is that he is insanely easy to learn, right behind Temjin.
The Bal series gameplay is very different from BBB in VO:OMG. Now, he relies on his 4 E.R.Ls to create great combos and attacks to destroy his opponent. Though his normal attacks do not deal much damage, they often come in huge numbers. A Bal series expert can fire 500 plus weapons in a single match up ! His combos are need some setting up but they are worth it because of their high damage. If you can master the Bal series, you must be really good in VOOT.
Specineff has great dashing speed and fast direct attacks. Generally, his movements are slow and he tends to give burst of speed and fire power. With a mixture of disabling attacks, direct attacks and slow tracking weapons, Specineff is a deadly virtuaroid to dealt with.
Angelan is a defensive virtuaroid. She has her powerful double dragon and ice poles for offence and ice shields for her defence, a powerful combination! Her speed on the ground is what usually caused her demise so Angelan had to be careful to play defensively.
Used to punish the chicken players who play at far end of the screen, the AI Ajim is ridiculously over powered in almost every aspect except for close combat. Ajim's moves are mostly copied from other virtuaroids, and powered up!
Ajim is also a time released character, not handicapped in every way, except he gets the worst armor in the whole game. Still, a human Ajim is extremely hard to kill.
Bradtos is the mid-boss of the game, and is invulerable until he exposed his crystal inside. With a wide range of powerful attacks, Bradtos is a lethal opponent for most cadet pilots.
Tangram is the last boss of the game. With a wide range of attacks, Tangram has a very tough armor plating. Most cadet pilots will have trouble killing Tangram before the time runs out.
