SUBJ:/CYCLE ORDERS

    RMKS:/1. Gentlemen,
Find attatched cycle orders from DOFCSUB. Issue these orders ASAP. Squadron SITREPs are due 29JUN99. I did not recieve SITREPs from either of you on the 14th. Don't let this happen again.

    2. OFCSUB is still on my back for a roster report. I need to know who's left in your squadrons no later than 25JUN99. Please put your best effort into this.

    3. All hulls should be based in Kings Bay at the moment for refit and reload. We will use this next cycle to relocate to our new homes in the Pacific. I expect us all to be combat ready when the next cycle begins on 01JUL99. Make it so.

    4. CSR16 and CSR3 are required to ACK this COMM.

SUBJ:/ SG10 RELOCATION

    RMKS:/1. Gentlemen,
The warm waters of the Pacific are calling us. Due to our extended stay in the MED (over a year now for myself), I have requested, and been granted, a transfer of SG10 to the Pacific Ocean. All hulls are therefore ordered to return immediately to Kings Bay for refit and reload. Afterwards we will be transiting the Panama Canal, and serving in the Pacific. I think that this will be very beneificial for us. Not only will it be a drastic change of pace, it will also give us an entirely new set of missions assign our hulls. SG7 will take our place in the MED.

    2. CSR16 is to report immediately to Subic Bay, Phillipines. You will be based there alongside the SG10 HQ.

    3. CSR3 is to report immediately to Diego Garcia. This will be your new Homeport.

    4. From what I've gathered, wer'e fixing to start a major campaign against N. Korea. You should be reading the Navy Times daily for INTEL.

    5. I apologize for not getting the SG10 web site up in a timely fashion. I've been really busy with RWC's. I promise to get it up and running in the next few days.

    6. CSR16 and CSR3 are required to ACK this message. Please pass this info on to your hulls ASAP. This is a very exciting development for me. I hope you share my enthusiasm.

SUBJ:/MISSION ORDERS

RMKS:/1. A new due date for your squadron SITREPs has been mandated by orders from CINCLANT. He has requested my SITREP be on his desk by 01MAY. This means that I need yours by 30APR, no later that 1800CST.

    2. With these new due dates, a few changes of our own will need to be made:

        A. CSR16 - Poll your men and see if they can get another mission in on time. Be prepared to issue new orders this evening, or early tomorrow. Issue Operational missions to those who are capable, and training missions (I think the Clancy missions will suffice) to those who will not be able to complete a mission by Thursday. I'm waiting on word about the La Holla project, so don't worry about her just yet. I'm pretty
sure that the OP is a go, but since it's such a long mission, we should probably go ahead and assign it, and put it on next cycle SITREP (due 09MAY). In other words, keep your men busy until the 9th.

        B. CSFR87 - I have yet to see any mission briefs from your guys cross my desk. I'm sure they're flying, but I'd like a little progress report. Please forward that to me ASAP. You also need to keep your men busy until 09MAY. (Too many targets.......too few planes....but lot's of armament to go around).

    3. CINLANT prefers to do things in a "Real Time" mode. In other words, assign your assets missions now. If they complete more that one by Friday, combine their reports in your 30APR SITREP. If not, simply carry the mission over until 09MAY. Above all, do not let your assets remain idle. We have too much to accomplish, to let this extra time go to waste.

SUBJ: JFK OPORD

RMKS:/1.Commander CVBG67 reports the JFK is rounding the Southern tip of Italy and about to enter the Strait of Otranto. From here, she will be escorted into the Adriatic by USS Boise SSN764.

    2. CAG USS JFK is hereby ordered to commence flight operations ASAP. CSFR87 is to conduct strategic air strikes on Serbian targets inside Yugoslavia and Kosovo. Fly as many sorties as possible over duration of  the next cycle. Make all attempts to avoid civilian casulties, as this is becoming an embarassment to NATO.

    3. SITREPs are due on my Desk no later than 1800Z24APR. GOOD LUCK GENTLMEN.

    4. CSFR87 is ordered to ACK this message immediately.

SUBJ:/ FYI

RMKS:/1. Due to the defunct of OPFOR, LANT COMMs will no longer be secured on the INVOLV site. You can always find the latest news about 6th Fleet OPS here from now on.

    2. Capt Joe Casey has been named as the XO of the US Sixth Fleet. He is a fine officer and is very deserving of the title. All of your squadron SITREPs , along with any other urgent COMMs should be copied to him. Congrats Joe. Drinks are on you in the REEF.

    3. Since we are in the middle of a major conflict, I would like to see a copy of all SITREPs. Joe is already doing this. Ben, I need you to forward all of your guys missions reports to me. I need to know what your guys are doing..

GOOD LUCK GENTLEMEN!
