Notes: This is a good quest to test how well you are. King Leoric is not too hard but it isn't a walk in the park either.

Trigger's statement: THE VILLAGE NEEDS YOUR HELP, GOOD MASTER! SOME MONTHS AGO KING LEORIC'S SON, PRINCE ALBRECHT, WAS KIDNAPPED. T HE KING WENT INTO A RAGE AND SCOURED THE VILLAGE FOR HIS MISSING CHILD. WITH EACH PASSING DAY, LEORIC SEEMED TO SLIP DEEPER INTO MADNESS. HE SOUGHT TO BLAME INNOCENT TOWNSFOLK FOR THE BOY'S DISAPPEARANCE AND HAD THEM BRUTALLY EXECUTED. LESS THAN HALF OF US SURVIVED HIS INSANITY...

THE KING'S KNIGHTS AND PRIESTS TRIED TO PLACATE HIM, BUT HE TURNED AGAINST THEM AND SADLY, THEY WERE FORCED TO KILL HIM. WITH HIS DYING BREATH THE KING CALLED DOWN A TERRIBLE CURSE UPON HIS FORMER FOLLOWERS. HE VOWED THAT THEY WOULD \line SERVE HIM IN DARKNESS FOREVER...

THIS IS WHERE THINGS TAKE AN EVER DARKER TWIST THAN I THOUGHT POSSIBLE! OUR FORMER KING HAS RISEN FROM HIS ETERNAL SLEEP AND NOW COMMANDS A LEGION OF UNDEAD MINIONS WITHIN THE LABYRINTH. Quest End Statement: THE CURSE OF OUR KING HAS PASSED, BUT I FEAR THAT IT WAS ONLY PART OF A GREATER EVIL AT WORK. HOWEVER, WE MAY YET BE SAVED FROM THE DARKNESS THAT CONSUMES OUR LAND, FOR YOUR VICTORY IS A GOOD OMEN. MAY LIGHT GUIDE YOU ON YOUR WAY, GOOD MASTER.
Walkthough: You will get the message from Ogden the Tavern Owner when you reaach level 2 of the dungeon. In level 3, you will see an entrance that look like this. When you put the mouse over it, it will say "To King Leoric's Tomb. Enter here and be prepare to waste a lot of health (and mana, if sorcerer).

First when you enter the lair, you will hear Leoric say something. Now, you muc go straight through the door and into the big square hall. kill all the skeletons before going on. Make sure to clear out the rooms on the sides too. Now pass through the narrow hall. Try to advoid going to the center of the giant room at the beginning because you don't want to have to deal with Leoric and his minoins at the same time. Try to drag some of the minions into the already cleared area.

Now that you have clear most of the skeletons, it's time to deal with Leoric himself. Try to get him under the doorway like in the picture. That way, he cannot creat minions easily and you can attack without worrying about others joining in. If you are a warrior, this is the best way of dealing with him. For rogue and sorcere, you cannot use this. Rouge and sorcerer must attack from a distance be must also be care because some of the skeletons can also attack with range weapons.

Finally, clear out the rest of the rooms and don't forget the secret room. To get in, you must touch all of the crucified skeletons at the corners of the large room and the door will show itself.
