These are just a few shots whilst on holiday in Thailand. The first one is the sea canoes. We spent a whole day on this excursion which was in and out of the lagoons. They were truly amazing. This photo shows the inside of one of the lagoons. This was probably the best excursion that we did. We also had lunch on the boat, it was a hot buffet and would have pleased even the pickiest of people, something for everyone - first class. Also we did not have to do any rowing , we were all given our personal guide during the whole trip whilst we were out in the sea canoes - lazy or what! The second photo shows, our trip to James Bond Island, which is where 'The Man with the Golden Gun' was filmed. The final photo shows the famous Thai Ladyboys, at the Simon Cabaret. This show was brilliant and a must for all who visit Phuket to see. Phuket is a lovely place to visit, we went during August which is their monsoon season and we can honestly say that it did not spoil the holiday at all. James Bond Island is a trip well worth doing. We did the full day excursion which included the sea canoes and a visit inside some of the most incredible caves, an unforgettable experience. If you ever visit Phuket, The Simon Cabaret is a must. It is a great show and would be enjoyed by everyone.

The Ten Must Do List

It seems everyone has a 'top ten'list and so do we. Doing even half of the things on the list will virtually assure you have an enjoyable experience during your visit to Phuket. Complete the list and you may never go home, or if you do, it may only be to plan your next visit.

Take a drive along the south coast of the island between Kata Beach and Promthep Point. This is truly one of the most beautiful and scenic drives anywhere in the world. The drive takes less than an hour, so stop at each rest area and delight in the stunning views.

Take a visit to nearby Phang-nga-Bay (the sea canoe or a small boat if possible). You will be missing one of the true natural wonders of the world if you miss this opportunity to appreciate this striking rock in limestone formations and spectacular scenery on this amazing bay.

Experience the majestic rainforest by elephant. Truly an experience to remember. The elephants take you on an hour's trail through the rainforest.

Drive the north coast and enjoy the sensation of having a tropical beach all to yourself.

Watch the sunset from Cape Promthep, then dine on seafood at one of the many restaurants.

Visit the Night Market in Phuket Town, enjoy the enormous selection of Thai food, fruit and desserts - all at incredible low prices and the beer is not bad either!

Khao Rang Hill in Phuket Town affords a beautiful view of Phuket Town and is a great place to enjoy a lunch or dinner

Have your fortune told while you visit the famous Wat Chalong.

Have a traditional Thai massage. You can choose to have one at your hotel or at the beach in Patong. It looks a little rough but feels amazingly very good afterwards.

Simon Cabaret. The is truly a spetacular show featuring the famous Thai Ladyboys. The sound system is second to none and it is truly a professional show. The Ladyboys are very professional and very feminine.
