Well NiGHTS has gone comic form! The NiGHTS into dreams comics.NiGHTS #1
The comic the first in the Series of "Three" was mainly a introduction on the past of NiGHTS (200 years ago) and the finding of the Two dreamers. Claris and Elliot. After finding them the story goes to each of the two dreamers dreams (Erf..) . Starting with Elliot as how he was bouncing a basketball around then Roger his arch enemy runs over and slams the ball down the hoop in Elliot's face shattering his dreams. As for Claris she sings the song Dreams dreams and is comented badly by Madam Puffila. Then soon afterwards they enter their dreams etc. Elliot being the first one to merge with NiGHTS. Then wizeman finds out NiGHTS has been released from Ideya palace (For more info on the History and Story go to here. Click here ) and then releases the Gillwig after Elliot but then NiGHTS finds out that Claris in another part is in trouble with a LARGELY inflated version of Madam Puffila. Then towards the End of the comic Roger comes into the view of being Reala's new Dreamer..... Anyway the comic overall has some great work by Spaz and the writers but the mix of Manny Galan and Spaz ain't too much of a good combination. But as it seem's Spaz has added Anime styling into it again with large eyes for most of the characters etc.

Continuing from the First issue this shows Elliot
battling the Gilwig in his dreams, while NiGHTS enters Elliot's body in real life. The
same goes for Roger and in real life A trip to the museum is where Elliot's school was to
go not to mention Claris's school. Then Elliot and Roger when at a part of the museum
explain the story of the Tower in Twin Seeds. Which to everyone is quite strange...
But still everything goes on with Elliot battling the Gilwig and of
course.. I shouldn't tell it'd ruin the suspense... But anyway that's what Reviews are
for! Well of course the Gilwig is defeated. But over in reality, the Museum Cafe is having
a food fight between the two schools! And Wizeman puts Claris to sleep while in a Sheep
form. And Claris fights Gulpo as NiGHTS while Elliot runs around like a chicken with his
head cut off. Slang only.. it didn't happen *Damns and drats are heard in the Back ground*
But then Claris is found alone after NiGHTS destroys Gulpo who then heads off to help
Elliot and Wizeman meets her and asks for her Red Ideya. Claris is promised a big
rehearsal for a guy with a VERY strange accent. So Claris agree's. OH NO!! Such horror!

NiGHTS with half power seeing that wizeman has Claris's dream
power, goes against Reala in a rematch but obviously losing. Claris having lost her dream
power is now at a Rehearsal where she does nothing but stand there sorry for herself.
Afterwards she leaves and the ground rumbles then. And she is returned her dream power by
a Utopian who stole it off Wizeman. Elliot soon goes into a dream and ends up in Nightopia
facing Reala who tries to steal Elliots dream stone but fails and Claris and Elliot meet
up later at the Ideya palace and decide who becomes NiGHTS and they both do! Afterwards
the story goes on as they defeat Wizeman but leave Reala as ruler of Nightopia.
NiGHTS being very weak after merging with both of them is on the
edge of extinction. Then Elliot beats Roger in the Big Basketball game and Claris scores
at a Concert. Elliot and Claris go out then big smooch. And after the smoochie NiGHTS
comes to life in reality. And they live happily ever after. Or so it seems.......

The art here has deteriated to a... weird form. Not really anime style but more like a Marvel comic (shudder) .Anyway it's mainly about NiGHTS exploring the human world. He encounters some human's and then considers what they do as strange. Starting from the start Elliot and Claris have a dream where Reala turns it to be a Nighmare. Then the scene moves to NiGHTS where he witnesses a parachuting with one of the people parachuting "cheating" by falling quicker to the ground then others so NiGHTS pulls the cord. Then it shows Elliot and Claris in school, where they don't get much sleep because of the Nightmare and fall asleep in classes etc. NiGHTS then enters a Terrorist operation in progress. NiGHTS then turns into something like "The Mask" where NiGHTS burps hurling the Terrorists into a wall, the police arrive and NiGHTS leaves. Later Claris and Elliot sense NiGHTS is in trouble through a strange... way. NiGHTS meanwhile is running away from Cops who are chasing him. Claris and Elliot run away from their schools, meet up and look for NiGHTS in a croud of mimes. NiGHTS who has wandered into that croud, is laughed at by some of the mimes. Claris and Elliot are caught by a cop and are taken into the patrol car. NiGHTS wanders into a Alley because he's loosing energy and Roger finds him a leads him away. Gasp what will happen next?! Gee I don't know...

It continues on with Roger entering his basement showing a weak NiGHTS hanging onto his life. Then Elliot and Claris make some jokes in the police station and the terroroists are brought in by the police (Refer to last issue). They bring the terroroists into the interegration room where the terrorists are saved by their boss in a large tank like machine. Then meanwhile Reala is causing havoc in Nightopia with powers he can use at will. Two Nightopians escape speaking at will (grumble) about finding Elliot and Claris. Well they find them and the scene moves to the Terrorist group who are creating a weapon called the "Dream Bomb" (How Ironic...). Then the scene moves again to the Manager of the Twin Seeds tower where he is questioned by a Police officer. Then it again moves to the Nightopians who distract Roger in order to get to the basement to save NiGHTS, they suceed and the Nightopians and the two dreamers wander down to the basement to find NiGHTS who is...

Ok the next comic and the final one. Hopefully, why? This series is getting... too predictable. Anyway NiGHTS is fine incase you were wondering with the first page of Elliot and Claris looking really... "mental". Archie comics don't seem to be trying to make the comic good from the looks of it. The Nightopians and the two dreamers drag NiGHTS up the stairs of the basement and to the Twin Seeds tower. With Roger asleep he finds himself in Nightmare where a Nightmaren cat attacks him but Reala electricutes it or something and the large beast dissapears, there he scares Roger so he wakes up for failing. Then in Twin Seeds tower the manager allows some Glass replacement workers into the well guarded tower, the workers look too obvious and are the terrorists. The Lady liutenant gets supspicious but let's them through afterwards the Manager of the Tower is pulled into the elevator with gasp! Who else? The terrorists! The Liutenant finds the broken glass and emtpy white overalls which the Glass workers aka Terrorists were wearing. It takes a while in her mind to realize the obvious, some goofy looking police men storm in with what looks like water guns :P Meanwhile Elliot and Claris find the real Glass workers and set them free. Feeling something bad which is going to happen they head to the Twin Seeds tower. Up in the tower the Terrorists explain what the bomb will do, they set it to go and head off. NiGHTS glides up to the tower and boom. Reala comes through a portal. They battle it out and Roger decides to stop giving Reala his dream energy. NiGHTS and Reala notice a opening portal and they both race for it, then Reala begins to feel weak because of Roger take his dream energy back from Reala. NiGHTS makes it back to Nightopia. Elliot, Claris and Roger run away from a Police officer and there is your happy ending. NiGHTS looks real stupid on the last page. YAY! The series is over!
