The first time I saw Legolas on screen was just a flash. He stepped off the horse, then came the close up and then the scene changed. And my exact thoughts at that moment were 'I hope he's in the remainder of this movie'! It was that one moment, and he had captured my interest forever. Orli is the real person, whereas Legolas is not, sadly but truly...Reading that quote above I wish he had sailed over the seas of time and reached us here today!
Enough of my thoughts, here are some Le(decided to call him that because Leggy just doesn't fit too well with me!) stats:
Birthdate: Not specified, although he is supposed to be atleast 2931 years old.
Birthplace: Since he is the Prince of Mirkwood I would assume Mirkwood.

Marital Status: Single - no romantic interests ever mentioned, presume none exist.
Legolas is the swift, keen eyed, perceptive, archer. He does not possess the rugged looks that either Aragorn or Boromir do, but rather he has an ethereal appearance. He is just plain beautiful. He is definitely what I would call LITHE...
