The Blonde
The gentle groan of stretching material filled the locker room as Kalli toyed lazily with the elastic armband Jeff had taken to wearing around of late. It had very little give in it and the girl couldn’t help but wonder how he managed to have any circulation in his arm what so ever while wearing it.

“Kalli?”

The girl jumped, momentarily startled, one hand slipping from the elastic. The armband snapped back quickly, striking her fair in the chin. “Ooowww!!!”

Laughter rung in her ears and she looked up, rubbing her chin, “Jason Reso - That is *so* not funny.”

He grinned, “It looked pretty funny from here.” She glared at him, but his laughter continued until a tiny smile danced onto her lips. He nodded at her, “I knew you’d see things my way.”

Clearing her throat, trying to remain all stern and cross with him, though failing dismally, she asked, “Is there something I can do for you, Jay?”

“Uh huh.”

There was a pause and she said, “Well?”

“Oh, yeah.” He winked playfully at her, “Have you see Tiara? She’s gone awol on me.”

Kalli shook her head, “Nup, sorry hun. I didn’t even know you guys had arrived yet.” She smiled, “But if I see her...”

“Thanks, Kalli.”

“You’re welcome.” She flashed him another grin before he disappeared back out the door.
After pondering Tiara’s whereabouts a moment, she stood, knowing that Tiara was probably over at Krissy’s office giving her a hard time for Jason’s match up the previous night against the Big Show. She hurried over to the door tearing it open, about to call after him...

But snarling instead, “Stacy.”

“Kalli? Oh, I’m sorry! I was looking for the Hardy Boys locker room.”

“This *is* The Hardy Boys locker room.” Kalli’s eyes narrowed into the kind of look that could kill if she was properly motivated.

Stacy smiled, “Oh, Good! You won’t mind if I wait here then.” She stepped into the room, smacking her shoulder into Kalli’s as she passed.

The McMahon Heiress stepped back, biting her bottom lip. She wondered silently to herself if Stacy was suicidal, just barging in the way she had. If the leggy blonde thought for one second that Kalli was going to tolerate her little games, she had another thing coming.

Shoving the door so it slammed shut, Kalli turned slowly, coolly, chuckling darkly, “Stace, babe, you just walked into the snake pit.” She stared pointedly at the girl, “Got a death wish, don’t cha?”

“Not at all.” Stacy sat on the bench Kalli had just been occupying, folding her luscious legs seductively, her aggravating smile never faltering, “You, my dear Kalli, have to behave, remember?” She giggled softly, “I’m perfectly safe.” She shrugged, “Besides, while you were away Jeffykins and I became rather good friends... He wouldn’t let you harm *one hair* on my head.”

Despite herself, little stabs of jealousy tugged at Kalli with this, but she kept her cool, retorting, “It’s a good thing *Jeffykins* isn’t here then.”

Stacy leant back on the bench, throwing her head back so the length of her blonde hair floated down her back. Acting almost as though Kalli was not even there, she reached a hand up, unbuttoning the top button of her blouse, like she wasn’t already hanging out of it enough as it was. “Hmmm,” she murmured, moving a hand to the second button, “I do wish Jeffykins would hurry up.”

Furious contempt starting to consume her, Kalli growled, “Okay, that's it!” She stepped forward, snatching a less than gentle hold of Stacy’s right ear lobe and yanking the girl to her feet.

“Hey! Ooowww!!!”

Dragging her to the door by her ear, Kalli told the girl, her voice with a dangerous edge, “You listen to me, you little harlot, stop hanging around Jeff as of right now because I will seriously risk staying suspended the rest of my fucking *life* just to get my mitts on you.”

“What's the matter, Kalli?” The girl slapped a hand against Kalli’s, forcing her hand away. She rubbed her ear lobe, sulky as she snarled, “Can’t handle a taste of your own medicine, can you?”
Confusion, and a touch of exasperation, filled Kalli’s voice. “A taste of my own medicine? What the *hell* are you talking about?”

Stacy stepped back from her, turning her back to her to step, all sultry grace, back across the room toward the bench. Despite herself Kalli followed a few steps behind as Stacy spoke, “You know very well what I’m talking about, Kalleasto.” She plonked back down on to the bench, crossing her long legs.

Arms folded, peering down at her, Kalli stood before her. “I seem to be a little out of the loop here, Stace. Why don’t you explain it to me?”

“Well,” Stacy shrugged nonchalantly, all smugness, “You don’t appreciate someone else having a vested interest in your beloved Jeff but its okay for you to whore around with his brother...”

Outrage surged through Kalli as the last of Stacy’s words trailed away. Barely able to restrain herself, Kalli leant forward, speaking right into the leggy blonde’s face, “Don’t you *ever* say one word about me and Matt, Stacy, because you have *NO* fucking idea.”

The WCW Starlet laughed sweetly, “Kalli, honey, everyone knows. You’ve got Jeff right where you want him, and though you talk like he’s your true love, you’re not fooling anyone.”

“Stacy...” Kalli started.

“The only person you’ve blinded with your pathetic ness is Jeff, Kalli. The rest of the WWF can see that you’re doing exactly what you resent me for doing.” She giggled, “You are so very, very into Matt that you pursue him time and time again... One little kiss, Kalli? That was your defence wasn’t it?”

Again Kalli’s tone filled the air, “Stacy...”

“I bet you’re fucking him,” Stacy smiled darkly, her tone accusing, “I bet you’ve been fucking him for months. And I’m going to make Jeff see the truth, Kalli. You don’t deserve him.” She grinned, “I do.”

“Stacy...” Her voice more than a thinly veiled warning now, Kalli could barely control the fury inside her, she stepped right up to the girl, grabbing a hold of her blouse, but Stacy’s words did not stop coming.

“Krissy is going to marry Adam, and I *am* going to have Jeff, Kalli. I am.” She stood, pushing Kalli back a few steps. “And all the talk is true. You and Matt?” Another giggle broke from her lips, “You and Matt are going to be together.” She gave Kalli a little shove, enjoying the look of pain on Kalli’s face at her words, loving every second of the evident battle she fought.

To strike out or not to strike out...

“Stacy.”

But this time it was not Kalli’s voice that filled the room.

Both girls whirled, their gazes settling on Matt Hardy as he stepped into the room, holding the door open behind him.

“Matt...” Stacy stammered, “Listen... I was just...”

His voice was controlled, but barely, “Get out.”

“But Matt...”

“GET OUT.”

Stacy jumped at the sound of Matt’s furious yell, stepping back from Kalli and hurrying around her, her face crimson as she shuffled out the door like she had just been bitten.
Barely giving her time to get out the door, Matt slammed the door shut, only just missing the girl at all. He stepped forward, leaning his forehead against the door as he sighed, “I really hate that little bitch.”

“Yeah,” still surprised that Matt was even there Kalli somehow managed to whisper, “Me too.”

But her heart was in her throat.

He was there.

They were alone.

And Kalli had never been more petrified in her life.
