2ND LEGION NOIRE REGIMENT – THE DAMNED In an army of braggarts and glory hounds, none stand out more than the legendary Legion Noire. Within the Legion Noire none are as loudmouthed as the 2nd Regiment, known simply as The Damned. The members of the regiment chose this moniker themselves because they realized that the true glory and prestige would always go to the ultra-elite 1st Regiment Pride of the Republic. Thus, they are "damned" to be 2nd for the rest of their days. From the point of view of most non-legionnaires, 2nd is not a bad place to be, but the 2nd Regiment perpetually has a chip on it’s shoulder. In their eyes, the 1st is more of a political regiment than an actual elite fighting force. Masters of covert operations, the Second is often used as a strike regiment, appearing and disappearing with alarming speed and ease. These daring raids have heightened the regiment’s already fearsome reputation. The regiment is composed of the finest soldiers that the South has to offer, and is well known for its versatility. When not in combat, they train for every imaginable scenario, making them well suited to any task. The regiment’s members are all qualified in hand-to-hand combat, heavy weapons operation and covert operations. The unit is currently adding paratrooper operations to its repertoire of stunts. |
