| Hello Dahlings Here are some tips you might want to consider when we war. The only strings allowed by the RWC are:
//roll-diceY-sidesX Y is equal to the number of dice to be rolled. X is equal to the sides. The AOL Dice (Key Word: Dice ) roller is also acceptable and legal. If anyone is caught using strings other then the ones listed there will be dire consequences. Before you challenge anyone to a fight go into a PR by yourself and roll your dice several times to see which set is hotter. I would suggest 20 times with each string. You might also consider black Arial font un bold un italic. I know boring but it is also more OH friendly and we want the OH to be as friendly with us as possible we are in this to win wars When you start a fight turn IMs off for everyone but yourself. Go into setup privacy preferences and block all but you. You want to do this because IMs can really mess up your dice rolling especially if you get a lot of them. Occasionally an IM will change your luck with the dice for your benefit though so you want to be able to IM yourself if that happens. If you get a buddy chat invite don't close it but drop it down it will stop other buddy chat invites from finding you. About other Proggies that affect dice Rolls, some of you may have hear of them others might not have either way DO NOT USE THEM EVER. To do so and if you get caught means you lose the match and is punishable. read the RWC operations for specifics. Do not use wavs during a match even if not announced, they can affect dice rolls. We don't want a match thrown out because you couldn't wait to hear a song. If you watch a match Keep quiet when you enter a room wait to see if a match is in progress before sending your life story marching across the screen and if you leave the room for any reason unless you are fighting, healing or proctoring STAY OUT until you find out the match is over. One it's distracting two it can affect the dice for good or bad and three i's rude to run in and out. Keep conversations in IMs build a boat build a house start a family whatever your want just keep it out of the room. I know some guilds have this thing with running in and out of rooms believe me I have seen it happen enough but I for one think we at SiN are better then the rest. So what happens if your rolls fizzle. well make sure you aren't getting 20 people IMing you good luck, Switch legal strings, Use the dice roller. Sometimes even one special attack by a person always rolls high or almost always. if you have one of them use it. Now there is an open dungeon policy that means if you are captured then you can leave the dungeon and be in the realms you just have to add a comment in your life scroll ((Profile)) that you are A Prisoner to which ever guild you lose too. I was asked if the other side can do "things" to you if caught. Not without your permission. If you want to fraternize with the other side that is fine BUT if you do don't give away any guild secrets. For DMs, THERE IS NO SN DELETION So if the character dies in the war he or she will either be Rezzed during the war with a roll OR after the war when all the Dead are Rezzed. There will be assassins out in this war so do not go into rooms other then our safe havens without a clock of invisablity. ((IE put yourself on Visual block from everyone.)) We would prefer if you stayed in a Little Sin tavern though. Stay to the rooms listed as Official War rooms for fights . THERE are NO safe havens in Rhy'Din Other then the ones given to you as safe for our side. This means hospitals, Temples or havens in other Forums are considered fair game So if you are anywhere in the Realms (IE gaming chat room where dice can be rolled) other then you are fair game. Try to contact either myself, Eleni or Johnathan if you have any questions right before a fight and we will try to arrange healers and such. IF you can't fight and you are challenged do try to reschedule it for a time both of you find acceptable. No Swearing is allowed. Some will lay into you for the mildest cursing if they want to cause trouble. Treat the proctor with respect.
The Following is a sample of what War terms are and what they mean My comments on the terms are in Red War terms listed below
Terms of War VPs: 150 This means we fight until 1 side has 150 points and the first side to reach it wins Allies: Yes Means have others on the same side AAs: Yes (15 allowed performance, valid or non.) Assassins will be out 15 attacks are allowed PER side success or failure Healers: 3 (Equality of number non rank) Three healers of any rank allowed per side. They don't have to be equal ranked healers, IF said 3 equal you would have to have same rank of healers also. DMs: Mandatory: Ranks of Sergeant and below / Marshal and above POWs Anyone with a rank of Warrior, Corporal OR Sargeant must DM if they fight. the rest will be doing POW matches ONLY. Matches: 2 Ranks up / 2 Ranks down / Equal You can fight people up to 2 ranks above you or two ranks below you OR someone of the same rank. I would suggest NOT trying to fight anyone more then a rank above you though. But it's up to you and only a suggestion. Forfeits: Standard commissioned rules apply. This means if too many fights are turned down by our guild members then we get a fine. War Begins: 3/23/00 11:00 pm EST War Begins at this time on this date.
